And the work that was performed was substandard.My husband and I hired Best Rooter [redacted])to do the complete plumbing job at [redacted] They had to repipe and establish drains for the bathrooms and kitchen, establish water outlets for the washing machine and establish water outlets for the hot water tanks. [redacted] agreed to complete the job for $1200.00. We brought all the materials for the job. On 9/19, [redacted] and staff started repiping the house and on 9/20 they informed us they were finished. Upon inspection, we were dissatisfied with the work. They had not provided the drains for the bathtubs or vanities, had not provided the water outlets for the washing machine and in the second floor bathroom the pipes were ran across the floor to the bathtub. [redacted] assured us that they had done all that they can right now, until we restructure the bathrooms and stated that was the only way they could run the pipes upstairs and suggested we build something over the pipes running across the floor. He assured us that they would be back to tie everything in once the bathrooms were reconstructed. We paid them the $1200 on Sept. 20., in good faith that they would come finish the job as agreed upon. After we paid him, [redacted] stopped answering his phone for my husband. We were having problems getting the pipes that they ran to fit inside the walls(not enough slack). Also my husband walked around the wall upstairs that they said could not be done and he wanted them to run the pipes around the wall instead of across the floor and we were ready for them to make the drains and tie in every thing. My husband finally got in touch with [redacted] by calling from my cellphone (a number he did not know). Even though my husband had left him several messages, he said he didn't know we were trying to get in touch with him. [redacted] finally came out to see what they needed to do, on 10/3/13. And stated he would be back to fix the issues. Do to death in [redacted] family, he agreed to fix everything on Sunday 10/6/13. [redacted] and crew came back out to the house and established the washing machine outlet(but did not anchor the tubes. They also added extra piping to the tubing so it could fit into the wall and reran the pipes that were originally across the floor. Instead of establishing drains for the bathtubs and vanities, they told my husband how to do it, he's not a plumber and that's not what we agreed upon. My husband refused to argue with them. We had several pipes that we had to add piping to, to installed bathtub fixtures and vanities and kitchen fixtures,and we had to recement a number of pipes. We were very dissatisfied with the job that was performed, and we are still left with the task of trying to establish drains for our bathtubs and vanities. Desired SettlementThey did half a job, so we want $600 back of the $1200 paid.

He Over charged what he stated would be.On Saturday June 21, 2014 mr [redacted] owner of Best Rooter was to repair a toilet by making sure it was level. Down. He quote one price but 30 minutes later he came and told Me 285 dollars for 30minutes of work. He made me feel intimidated . And uneasy so I wrote him a check for 285..00 dollars. He never showed me his plumbers license, his business license or insurance covering injuries. The receipt he gave me was not itemized and nor did it state any tax. I have request many time that come back and finish the toilet and show me he is licensed and insured and to question his pricing as he stated he thought sincei was a disabled veteran I had money.Desired SettlementI wish to have my money refunded immediately. If not licensed or. Insured he should inform the cliente. He should not be performing bootleg plumbing and estimates and repairs should be accurate and complete. Had I not been uneasy by his behavior I would never have paid him that outrageous amount for 30 minutes of work in which he never completed. He should stop advertising on his van or listing himself as licensed.
