When Tim first came to my door, I thought, oh no another person trying to sell me a roof. Was I wrong. Best Roofing & Exteriors is a local company that cares about doing quality work for local residents and it showed. Tim walked me through the process, took care of the paperwork, stayed in touch, and installed quality roof shingles. The crew was able to do the job in one day and cleaned up after the work was completed. It couldn’t have been easier. Thanks Tim!
in early March I asked Best about soffit repair and Tim *** arrived. He immediately went to and inspected the roof; he said I had hail damage. Our insurance agent disagreed and denied the claim. Tim said he would get an independent adjuster; this never happened and after many failed phone calls I gave up.
Later I called Tim to go ahead with the soffit job. Finally on 5/2 he showed up to check on the soffit job. He took 2 pieces of soffit that had fallen; said he would go the *** the next Mon (5/4) to get replacement soffit pieces and do the soffit job. He never showed up and never responded to my numerous calls. I finally gave up.
A couple of days ago I came aware the Best was doing a roof job on our neighbors home; so apparently Best is still in business. Hence my filing this complaint.
Best Roofing and Exterior installed a sump pump in basement after having flooding problems. Bobby called back immediately after I left messages and came out that same day to look at the issue. Two days later we had a sump pump installed! Workmanship was great. His crew was amazing, polite, and cleaned up. Communication was fast and reliable. Would highly recommend this company.
was hired in the summer of 2017 to put new roof shingles gutters, gutter guards. He did not put a drip edge onto the roof. When it rains the rain gets between the fascia and the gutters ruining the fascia. I had to get a new company out to assess the damage. It is costing me now $2,000 *** said I was supposed to get new gutter guards and didn't receive them which is another 430.00. I tried to contact him last year and this year no response back.

I talked with the Revdex.com office last week and let the lady know that I needed to pull this file from storage because it was actually 2016, which I did and I have my paperwork in line and will be sending it in with my response tomorrow. I just wanted to update.

I am rejecting this response because: I do not see any resolution in his response. I had a business quote about what it would entail to complete the work. I never received new gutter guards per the insurance request. They put the old gutter guards back on. I have a bid for that. They did not put a drip edge on the fascia, water is not draining properly into the gutters. I have the bids, he needs to refund me the money I have paid him.

Well Here is the real story. *** made a claim for hail damage on 5-2016 and asked *** to look at the house and the estimate in Oct of 2016, not the summer of 2017. She had several people that she talked to and decided she wanted my crews to do the work. Her original estimate did not have drip edge or gutter guard. So I went back and forth with the insurance company until they approved the supplement for drip edge. We gave her free upgrade on shingles, I personally installed a new kitchen light, we power washed the whole house, we built her a brick mailbox, we scrapped out her whole ceiling and repainted it, to make it smooth and many more free upgrades. We installed drip edge as you can see by the pictures, and the insurance company did not pay for gutter guards but we did put gutter guards on as you can see by the picture. She has never paid us her deductible or the full amount from the insurance company. I have several more emails that she states she thinks she should keep some of the insurance money. I do have more pictures and I also have more emails that back this up 100%. All in all she still owes $1,390.00 which she has refused to pay. I just let it go because she can not discuss without yelling and cussing. Every time she has called I have answered the phone and have phone records to prove, and I and a helper went by to try to see if we made a mistake, but she was so mean and belligerent that we had to leave. I have also included picture of the gutter and fascia which shows nothing wrong. No I told her I would come out and look at this and see if there is damage, or if we made a mistake, but she continues to scream at us. Even though she has committed insurance fraud by not paying us the money she received from the insurance, and this was almost 4 YEARS ago, I would be willing to help her out if I could. It does seem to me that she just wants more money.
This is an addition to my rejection of the business response. He is not responding to the problem at hand, which is the leaky roof and the gutter pitch that was installed incorrectly. I only know that I hired him to do a job. The section regarding the insurance claim, I only received the first insurance check which I gave to him. He was in contact with the insurance company after I hired him.

Picture shows rust, I've contacted him several times for four years. He says he's willing to help, never has shown up. *** always text says he'll be over an never does. I've been waiting four years. He is offering to look at it again today. June 3, 2020. Not saying He'll pay for it. Or admitting the gutter was pitched wrong four years ago. Solution to add gutter down spout left side. Also never got new gutter guards that insurance payed for. His crew put the old gutter guards back in placing them incorrectly. Solution replace gutter guards an install. The turbine was replaced with a board. It has a small leak, there is a shadow of dry water stain on my bedroom ceiling. I have the bid quote that I sent prior to this e-mail. The bid does not include the insulation or ceiling paint. I've attached the pictures of all the damage prior to this e-mail. I have seen the attic, there's a small leak around the replacement board. Wet insulation, seeping onto my ceiling in bedroom. Solution fix leak around the replacement board, take out wet insulation, replace with dry blown in insulation. Paint ceiling stain with kills and paint ceiling. *** said he'll have Damage Restoration *** take a look, today or tomorrow.
Tons of praise for these guys! This company is the very best at what they do. Details: Showed up early. Performed as promised. They helped me: Contacted my insurance company with me present. Led me through the processes. Explained the coming steps. Followed up. The weather changed, they called with a Heads Up. They did the roof in ONE day. They cleaned up Immaculately. As for cost, they were more than reasonable. They had GAF pay me for "Roofs for Troops". Tim D. is an outstanding company representative; I have never seen his equal. Bobby P., a veteran, is an honest and extraordinary businessman. Call, and see for yourself.
Best Roofing & Exteriors out of Cottelville has done new roofs for several homes in my neighborhood in Wildwood, MO. Tim *** was in my neighborhood and gave me a free inspection which showed storm damage to my roof. From there he walked me through the whole process of submitting my claim, working with the adjuster, and doing the work. The company was as good as their word throughout the process, and the work was quick and well done.
We had an excellent experience with TIm *** and Best Roofing! He walked us thru the entire insurance process and even met with our claims adjuster to look at the hail damage on our roof in Wildwood, Missouri. Because of his diligence, we had a new roof on our house within 3 weeks of submitting our claim. The crew was courteous and did a great job with clean up. Overall a great experience.
Bob and his team are simply amazing. I got a beautiful roof and complete interior patch-up at a great price which I don't think I would be able to get from anywhere else. Bob is very prompt in answering any questions that I had and very proactive in communication. I am very happy with the decision to go with Best Roofing and will recommend anyone to do the same!
Bobby and his crew recently did some work on my fathers house. He installed a new roof as well as siding, he also installed new mulch in the front and back yard. The efficiency of his crew day in and out was like nothing I've ever seen. no matter how late it got they would stay until the job was finished. While still having an incredible quality of work. one of the days one of his crew members didn't show, less than 30 mins later he was there working with the rest of the crew shoveling mulch and putting up siding. Him and his crew were super nice and super respectful. Anyone who wants good quality work for a cheap price, bobby is your guy.

Bobby was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our initial phone conversation was about putting on a roof for my mothers home during which he was very friendly and personable. He went to her home the next morning to take a look and to give an estimate. He arrived earlier than even I did which was a pleasant surprise.
The estimate was much lower than I expected and our insurance covered it which I didn't think it would...but he said they would cover it... and they did!!! It took about 2 weeks to get everything in line with the insurance and then the crew had the roof done in just a few short days! My mother couldn't have been happier with the crew that did the roof and the outcome!
The crew was very professional, always working when I drove by the house to see how things were going, and did awesome cleaning up after finishing the job!
I need some siding done on my own home soon and I know for sure that I will go with Best Roofing and Exteriors! What a great experience.... Thank you Bobby! Great Job!!!

Bobby and his crew did great work on my home. He installed a bathroom for me and guttering. He did such an amazing job I have hired him to do additional interior and exterior projects. They are fast and efficient with great quality workmanship. I will definitely recommend this company.

Very professional. I have worked with them on 5 or 6 projects and always received quality work. I feel that more people should put the good reviews...it seems only the bad ones take the time to leave a review....but these guys are great at what they do... inside and outside of the house.
