Best Move

I picked this company from Revdex.com for all the glowing reviews and a decent price. Moved me in June, 2019. Worst move of my life. Showed up 4 hours late, which screwed up the cleaning and utility services I had scheduled and the elevator I had to book for a specific time. Cleaning service showed up to find the house still full of boxes and furniture so they had to clean around them, leaving dirty spots everywhere. Had to leave to attend appointments at the new residence, leaving wife to handle situation alone. When they finally did arrive, they did bring an extra crew and had the house emptied in record time. But, despite specifically asking them to take extra care with the brand new solid wood coffee tables I had just bought, one arrived with a big gouge on the top. At the new residence, they packed everything they could into large containers to speed up the move from the truck up the elevator. Went quickly but outright broke several pieces of glassware. Really guys, when the boxes are clearly marked glass and fragile, don't stack a bunch of boxes on top of them. Leaving me to unpack the box of my boxes, I also discovered all the garbage from a previous move in the bottom of the container.
Like everything else in life. Pay your money and take your chances. No one could predict a truck would break down, but you would think they would have a contingency plan and a back up for those situations. Showing up over 4 hours late on moving day makes for an extremely stressful situation. Just lucky I had a days window for the new owners to move in or it would have been even worse. Have not contacted them since...just sucked up the cost of fixing my table and the broken glassware. Really want nothing to do with them again.

BCs Best Move- really says it all. After purchasing our first home, and all the stress of packing and moving and everything to do with buying a home. This company came in and helped us with a huge stress and did a fantastic job doing it. Very fast, considerate and efficient. This company has a great team, who work REALLY hard to get the job done. I would highly recommend this team to anyone who is making a move. Thanks again BCs Best Move! You guys were awesome!!

BC's best move is a wonderful company. The guys showed up right on time and were extremely professional and friendly. They worked at very fast speed while entertaining my 3 year old sons questions. By far best moving experience I have ever had!

Moving is a very stressful time, yet these guys did everything they could to make sure this part of it went as smooth as I could have ever hoped! We are a family of 4 moving from a large house with a LOT of stuff! I ended up choosing BC's Best Move mostly because of a friend's recommendation & a gut instinct upon meeting Ryan when I was first given a very fair and comparable estimate. On the day of the move, the guys all showed up on time with everything they needed to get the job done. They worked tirelessly from 8am to 8pm! (The long hours were our fault, & expected, as there was an entire garage full of large furniture extra to add on to the original quoted time) They moved quickly and carefully!! Nothing was damaged! Not one piece! Not a single scratch in our brand new home either. They blanketed things for us, packed up tv's, covered banisters etc... I felt like these guys cared for our stuff as if it were their own. We were so pleased with the work ethic this team had! I don't plan on moving anytime soon, but if I did...I would 100% hire these guys again!!

We recently moved from the lower mainland to Port Hardy what a great experience. They really are the "BEST" We had heard of so many bad reports on moving companies. IF we were to ever move again they are the only company we would use. Ryan and his crew were the greatest, they even arrived before us but handled the job as PROS. Thank you Ryan.

I highly recommend BC's Best Move. It was our best moving experience ever. Ryan was totally accessible, supportive and positive. The gents who packed our possessions, wrapped our furniture, drove carefully to the Island, and unpacked the huge load into a storage locker were respectful, diligent and professional. We have just recently had our furniture moved into our new home as we had extensive renovations done. The island movers remarked on how well packed and stacked our goods were in our locker and everything is in perfect condition. We are very grateful for such a positive moving experience. Do not hire this company. Every major piece of furniture in our house except the bedroom suite which I told them was brand new bears scratch marks reminding us of the company that we foolishly hired to move us to a new house. At one point the staff were rushing so much (they had social events after the move was over that they talked about being late for) that a staff member somersaulted down the ramp and one chair of our dining room table is heavily scuffed and scratched from the armrest down two legs and all over one foot of the chair. Our floor has a three foot scratch right in the middle of it. One of the beds has ten scratches and another eight. My grandfather's trunk that he brought to Canada in 1906 has a deep three inch gouge in the centre of it, despite me asking the movers to be extra careful of it. The staff were friendly and started off well. After two hours, everything went downhill, and the furniture started getting scratched as it was poorly wrapped and carried super-quickly. The movers left cigarette butts and food wrappers all over the front driveway, sidewalks and street. Loud music was played the whole time. I like music but I felt sorry for the neighbours listening to eight hours of it. When we tried over four or five phone calls to get the damage to our furniture repaired, the lead mover offered $181 for $1000-2000 in damage. Do not believe their claim that they will reimburse you. They won't. No one will fix this sort of damage anyway (I phoned several places) so their claims are useless anyway. In the end we got no money at all, as it was insulting to us to accept $181 and we wouldn't do it.

I really can't say enough kind words about Ryan and his team . They are all like a family. Quote was bang on . The team was respectful prompt supportive and most of all very hard working. I feel that they went over and above their job to make my move a success

Very personable and derail oriented, on time quote was bang on correct. All movers were courteous and shook your hand on arrival and departure. Took the time to get the pets names and make everyone feel very comfortable. Highly recommend this company for your moving needs.

I move often for work and have used several moving companies in the past none of which compare to The service I received from BC's Best Move. I've used them 2 times now (one long haul and one local move). The guys are always on time, go above and beyond to assist in packing and deliver on time on the other end of the move. I can honestly say the friendly helpful staff take the stress moving away. They treat my my stuff as if it was their own. I recommend this team to anyone looking for help moving.
