This consumer made this complaint in February of 2017, but due to a technical issue this was not received by me at that timeSubsequent to this complaint being submitted to the Revdex.com, Ms [redacted] had returned to her all premium previously paid (a total of $109.90, in March of 2017)We do apologize for the experience that she had with BEST Life and Health and her not receiving her identification card, as her experience with us is not typical

This consumer made this complaint in April of 2017, but due to a technical issues this was not received by me at that time. Subsequent to this complaint being submitted to the Revdex.com, Ms** had returned to her the amount of premium that was in question, for the time period of 4/to 4/as noted
in her complaint. This situation arose due to a question as to when the coverage was to be cancelled, and due to that there was a question regarding the refund of previously paid premium for coverage prior to the cancellation request. We apologize for any frustration Ms** has experienced with BEST LIfe and Health

BEST Life and Health, through working with the consumer's bank, did refund the premium's in question on March 6, 2017. While the consumer's bank may have originally issued a credit to your account, the premium's were returned by us to the bank on that March 6, date. I hope this clarifies the information supplied in my original response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The company said "BEST Life and Health has reviewed this member's account.This member initially enrolled for coverage through the Marketplace as of 1/1/17 and contacted us to establish recurring payments.  While I understand that the member cancelled that coverage through the Marketplace at the end of 2017, no contact was made to BEST Life to discontinue the monthly premium payments as would have been needed in order to make that cancellation effective.   The member contacted us on January 10, 2018 to cancel with a requested cancellation date of 12/31/17.  Since insurance coverage was provided for the first 10 days of January, and a 14 day notice of cancellation is required under the policy terms, the coverage has been cancelled as of January 24, 2018.   BEST Life will expedite the refund of any premiums paid for coverage beyond January 24, 2018."I do not accept the response by the company. They sent me a letter to re-enroll with them. I did not, the fact that they asked me to re-enroll means that my deal or contract was coming to an end at the end of 2017. I do not have to inform that my 1 year contract is over. If so why would they ask me to re-enroll?

Best Life never returned my premium payments. My bank issued a credit to me in the meantime to cover the damage of those premiums being charged but BestLife never returned the premiums.
