The Living Room vinyl laminate installed on 11/22/19 is not finished. I have requested it be completed twice - on 10/25/19 & 12/03/19 with no change
On 10/23/19 I paid a deposit of $1600 to contract installation of a vinyl laminate floor in my Living Room. On 11/22/19 it was installed, I paid an additional $600, but it was not finished/completed. At that time I wasn't aware of the gap near the sliding glass door as a vertical was blocking it. The 18" gap in the quarter round near the sliding glass door remains unfinished. The D.R. tile meets the L.R. laminate & requires a threshold - not finished/completed. When original L.R. floor was installed, I was told the gap would be OK if filled in with silicone. I is a catch-all for dirt & requires a threshold. I visited the business twice on 10/25/19 & 12/03/19 & requested it be finished/completed. The first time I was told it would be completed after the Thanksgiving holiday. The second time I was told Gil would come to my home the next day......No show........I'm still waiting........the problem still exists.
FINISH THE JOB - complete the sliding door quarter-round & install a threshold where the laminate meets the tile in the D.R.
This matter was satisfied 12/31/2019. The threshold was installed & the quarter-round was installed at the sliding glass door. I thought it was as a result of my complaint, as they did NOT have a "friendly" attitude. But I see on your report, they weren't notified of my complaint until Jan 6. Thank you for your assistance.
I agreed to install counter tops, kitchen sink and backsplash which included installing LED under cabinet lighting. To date LED still not working.
I agreed to an estimate to install countertops, kitchen sink and back-splash on 09/10/2019. Mr. Gil R suggested I replace the countertops in both bathrooms since I needed two granite slabs for the kitchen with enough material to do the two bathroom countertops also. Prior to install of the back-splash agreed to install LED strips for under the cabinets lighting with dimmer switches. Back-splash was completed on 10/14/2019, the electrician arrived 10/16/2019 to install the dimmer switches but was unable to complete to job because he brought the wrong kind of switches and would return when he got the correct (low voltage) dimmer switches. Since then Mr. Gil R has promised me several times that he has ordered the switches to complete the job. Today is 11/29/2019 and still no switches or communications with Mr. Gil R concerning this issue.
Request Mr. Gil R obtain the correct dimmer switches immediately to complete the job he said he would accomplish.

Thank You
Renovation of bathroom was left incomplete. After full payment was made to the company
In May 2019 it was agreed upon to renovate our bathroom which we were told would take 4 wks. The time came and went without the completion of the renovation. The company seem to disappear after the final payment was made to them. We texted we called all to no avail. Our bathroom remains incomplete. Electric sockets were left exposed, walls unpainted, shower was never sealed, holes left in the wall drywall chipping in the closet.
We would like a re1fund of our money because we are no longer comfortable with them coming to our residence.
Add-on charges made without authorization, over billed and refused to issue refund, product flawed without reasonable attempt to fix.
The following email sent to the owner basically describes the situation at hand. To date Gil R has refused to cooperate and offer any solution to the issue. I last spoke with him by phone on Wednesday June 20, 2018 and requested he respond to my email. He refuses to respond.

Dear Gil,
It's unfortunate that your job with our master bath remodel ended on such a sour note. I had expected otherwise.
Let me be clear, we are satisfied with the final product except for the appearance of the granite countertop and the overpayment demanded upon completion. Regardless of what our differences are, I am the consumer and what I think about the imperfection should have been honored. We can play semantics all day, fissure or crack, it's a crack in the granite. There is clear separation that can be distinctly felt by touch and seen by the naked eye. I've had numerous people look at the crack, some in the construction field, and to a person their opinion is that it's a crack. A crack does NOT have to go all the way through to be a "crack".
Your argumentative demeanor about the situation was troubling and in my opinion lacked professionalism on your part. Your solution, "Well, do you want me to replace it or what?" was completely unsatisfactory. Would you want someone ripping apart your bathroom with that attitude? I think we both know the answer to that one.
When it came time to settle up you were telling me about some add-on charges that we'd not agreed upon and you became quite agitated. This was troubling especially in light of the fact that I was not 100% satisfied with the final product. The "bronzing" glaze in the shower sliders being an additional $100.00 was never to our recollection discussed or agreed upon. From the onset, my wife was quite clear she wanted "frosted" sliders and you described the "bronzing" and what that would do and we agreed upon your recommendation. The charge for the sliders was $1,100.00.
We did understand that you forgot to add the two Delta 594 Faucets to the estimate and agreed upon the additional $500.00 for those items. If you check the original email sent to us by you on April 9, 2018 (included in this email), you will see all the charges (minus the Faucets) and the total was $7,797.85. Then, on page two of the charges is listed "Discount" in the amount of $250.00. Thus the charges for the job totaled at that time $7,547.85. Now, add the charges for the faucets to that ($500.00) and the new total is $8,047.85.
On April 11, 2018 we made an initial payment of $3773.72. On May 25, 2018 a second payment of $3,400.00 was made. On our sheet you wrote, balance $1,000.00. On June 6, 2018 we had our disagreement about the counter top and the money and I gave you a check for $1,000.00. The total for the job was $8,047.85. I ended up paying you, $8,173.92, an over payment of $126.07.
#1. The counter top is unsatisfactory and in our opinion, flawed. Because of your argumentative attitude regarding our disagreement about that situation, I'm not comfortable with you replacing the counter top or repairing it. I feel we should be credited at least $150.00 for this situation as that is the estimate for having someone repair the crack.
#2. If you cannot see clear to agree to #1, then at the very least you should reimburse us $126.07 for the overpayment.
I feel that you should reimburse us as requested with a check for $276.07 and that will be the end of the matter. I hope that you can honestly take a moment to reflect upon this and make things good by agreeing to my request. It has taken me a couple of days of reflection to do the same with respect to this note and what I feel would bring this matter to its final conclusion.I hope we can come to an agreement without any further actions or disruptions. I trust that you can do the same.
$126.07 refund for overpayment and $150.00 for damaged granite counter top which needs repairing.

We had cabinets and counter top installed by Best Kitchen And Bath Center. One door was damaged and 4 shelves were not installed, need side panel. Installed Cabinet in bathroom - still needs kick plate. After numerous call backs and no show appointments we are still waiting. We would not recommend Best Kitchen and Bath to any one.
Contractor completed job in Nov. but not to our satisfaction. We called many times & they finally came out. We agreed on a repair but still not done
We contracted with Best Kitchen & Bath in Nov. to replace our Kitchen Granite counter tops and add granite back splash. The job was completed in December but some of the work was poorly done. after many calls the came back to discuss the problem. We agreed on a solution in December but the did not come back as promised. We continue to call them almost daily but still no action. Gil R is the Sales person and possibly the owner of the business located at***. The cost of the job was $6500.00. The cost to make the repair would be about $25 in materials and 1 hour labor.
I would like the contractor to finish the job by making the minor repair required
We contracted with Best Kitchen and Bath to install new kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops. We have been trying to set up an appointment to repair damages done to our ceramic tile; correct an electrical issue with LED lights installed under the cabinets and repair several drawers that don't operate properly. For these reasons I would not recommend this business to do work in anyone's home.
The company did faulty granite work at my house/outside deck area. I have had 2 independent companies that reviewed the work and both stated the work was NOT installed correctly. He scheduled several appointments to fix but never came by and now will not return calls.
Thanks,

Repair Either a refund or repair faulty work
Our Company Installed Mr. Kitchen over a year and a half ago. When we installed his Summer Kitchen we wanted to fix his framing at his Summer Kitchen when we took some stones out Mr. to fix it Mr. Got kind of angry with us because we were taking off someone else's work, so we proceeded with the install did the work, put the stones back, did not fix the framing or reinforce for that matter or make it level because he had another contractor build the framing under the granite. after we installed everything was fine Mr. paid us and now a year-and-a half later Mr. calls that he has problems with a seam coming apart when I went to check out the seam I noticed someone else had been tampering with it. I asked them who had been touching this, he said they called another granite company and they told him that we did the job wrong , but at the same time there were shims of wood underneath the granite lifting it up even height. I told Mr. I will take care of the scene one thing led to another and here we are today him trying to blame us for something that we've done nothing wrong the problem is that faulty framing under the granite and the wrong wood.
