Review: On july 30 2014 I was hit in the head and neck by a 40 foot piece of #5 rebar when another worker knocked it down on me from approx. 10 to 20 feet. I was knocked unconscious. I went home mid week. We were working out of town. I tried to rest and thought I would get better. After three days I could not stand the pain and went to the hospital. After being put on workers comp and seeing berkley mid atlantics doctors found out I have three herniated discs in my neck. A flattened cervical spine and I have severe headaches almost 24 hours everyday. Surgery was recommended. I requested a second opinion and agreed to once again use the insurance companies doctors. [redacted] my case nurse t ried to have their doctor give a second opinion and when he refused they stopped my medical coverage and comp checks . Now I am on the verge of losing my place to live and still in pain and have no money to get the medical attention I desperately need.Desired Settlement: I want my neck and head fixed so I can return to work. I want berkley mid atlantic group to meet their obligations without further legal ramifications.
