I am an avid traveller and wanted to lighten up my luggage.

I bought the Tracker Expedition 27" from Bentley. I specifically asked if this was Rip Stop material and was told yes.

After my first trip the luggage was starting to look worn, but put it down to just dirty. It was very dirty partly due to the light color. This didn't bother me, I figure dirty is less likely to get stolen.

My second trip the bag ripped after I had picked it up from the airport and was transferring to my hotel. The bag was simply stacked with a bag on top that didn't have anything sharp on it. The material just gave way, luckily only on the outside pocket.

This proved to me that this is no way Rip Stop material. Once I got home I noticed other areas that were almost worn out.

I have had many soft sided bags with traveling over 40 years and none of them fell apart as fast a two trips.

I took it back to the store and was told it was were and tear and nothing was offered to me.

I should have taken pictures, before leaving it with the store to look after.

This bag is light, but unless you only want it for one trip don't buy.

As for warranty Bentley is a joke there is no warranty so don't believe that.

I am responding to the customer complaint from Sept. 9, 2015. Indeed the luggage the customer sent for repair was misplaced by the shipping company. We did attempt to track the luggage but were unsuccessful in locating the suitcase. On Sept....

10, the customer was offered a full refund and received her refund for $113.39 which was full purchase price from her original purchase in March 2015. I, the district manager for Bentley Leathers, have attempted to contact the customer as a follow up but have not received a call back from her and therefore I consider the matter resolved.
