expire gift cards seven years after purchase.   We have been in business since 2004 and believe this is an appropriate policy from both a customer service and an accounting and financial liability reporting perspective.   This policy is in compliance with MA state law.  The buyer and the holder of this gift card have both the issuance date and the expiration date available to them through our toll free number [redacted] which appears on our web site, and this information was provided to [redacted] as the holder  of the gift card.  Ms. [redacted] was advised that it is our policy to expire gift cards after seven years and we explained that this policy is in compliance with the MA state law.  We did not say the law would not allow us to accept a gift card beyond the expired date.  I hope that this clarifies our business policy of not accepting gift cards in perpetuity. Following is a link to the MA state law:  http://www.mass.gov/ocabr/consumer-rights-and-resources/consumer-protect...⇄ spa directorbellezza salon medspa[redacted]spa [redacted]  cell [redacted]spabellezza.com
