We have reached out three times to discuss any concerns this customer may haveWe had not received any complaints from her at this point but had a disputed charge from her credit card so we wanted to talk to her about thisWe did not hear
back so we responded to the credit card company who then redeposited the money
This guest had thin hair which was a huge concern to herShe only wanted a little length up front but wanted volume and hair around her face because it was sparse in this areaAfter a complimentary consultation we decided to order packs of hairWe were trying to be conservative because the cost was a concern to herWe added the packs of hair to fix this issueHer before and after pictures are amazingShe shared over and over how much she loved it and was smiling from ear to earI will submit those if you would likeShe did call and come back in with in weeks because we do a complimentary extension check to make sure the extensions are laying correct and the customer is taking care of themThis is done for every guest*** did say she was struggling fixing her hair and we worked on styling at this timeShe also shared she wished it was even thickerI shared that we would have to put more hair in and that would be an additional for an extra pack of hairI did tell her the extensions looked great(meaning they were good because my concern is the integrity of the hair) and there is a learning curve with having additional hairThis guest has had a surgery so turning her neck is difficult while stylingWe also have the follow up visit for this reasonSome of the hair extensions at this time were split into half bondsThis actually takes longer but she was not charged an additional feeI am certified to do hair for thinning hair and am able to take the bonds down to 1/bonds if necessary for thinning hairThis is amazing for people suffering from hair loss due to illness or chemoThe third visit for extensions was to remove half of the hair that had grown down naturally from the scalpThis was close to an inch and a half from regrowthThe average persons hair grows a half of an inch a monthThis is all part of extension maintenanceThe thinner and shorter the hair is the faster the bond will show once it has grown outIt is also to naturally shed a few extensions because our hair sheds dailyYou can replace all of the packs originally put in or if you are trying to spread the cost out you will typically do a few packs at a time, replacing the ones that show the mostSo at that time you remove the extensions that are showing and replace themSo at no time should she have had 1/packs of hairThat would jeopardize the integrity of her hair as well as my certificationI have been through extensive training in order to apply extensions to guest with extremely thinning hairAt that time I also split some of the extension hairs in half to avoid extra weight on the thinner areasThis is actually twice the work but again she was not chargedWe also special order hair for guests so charge for full packs but I knew cost was an issue so I allowed her to only pay for 1/of the third packAfter this appointment she was thrilled again and talked to a salon guest about how much she had enjoyed having thicker hair and would highly recommend hair extensionsOur salon manager was standing at the desk as well and is as confused as I am with this complaintShe has also tried to call this guestIt seems there are a lot of misunderstandings here that could easily be cleared up if the guest would return our callThe complaint of there not being 1/packs clearly explains this misunderstandingIf we would have put additional hair in back in April you would expect to find a higher count but after a few months some of the hair is ready to be replaced not added to
