On May 5, 2020 I placed an order for a food pickup on the BelAir website. My pickup time was 7:00 pm. When I got to the location there between 50-100 people waiting for orders between the outside of the restaurant and crammed into the inside. This is during the Coronavirus pandemic - there was no indication of how to pickup an order, no communication from staff whatsoever, and no indication that the orders were running behind by well over 2 hours. I could not cancel my order, could not reach anyone by phone or the website. Finally the police came and at 9pm, apparently all 7:00pm and later orders were cancelled. Any references to complaints were wiped from social media where possible but hundreds of people in multiple locations were left with no orders/food, no recourse, and wasted hours of time in an uncontrolled, uncommunicative, scary environment.
I have tried to email the business using the contact form on their website, tried to email, and tried to dispute with my bank. I was told I need to handle this with the business directly but I cannot reach anyone there.
I would like my $44.25 back but I would also like them to learn how to handle situations like this much better. This was dangerous and out of control. There are multiple photographs showing how crowded and disorganized this was in multiple locations of the business.
I was finally able to communicate with someone at the business and they have refunded my money. I tried to reach out to the Revdex.com earlier this morning to let someone know but didn’t have your contact info. So sorry for any extra work you may have done - we can consider this matter resolved as far as I’m concerned. Thanks so much for all you do
