Beck's Maintenance & Garden Center

I received an "overdue" invoice from Beck's even though I didn't have them do any work for me. (The invoice was for a neighbor with the same last name.) This is the 2nd time this has happened. I called their office to correct the issue & was told I would receive a call back that it was taken care of.

When I didn't receive a call for 3 days, I called them again & spoke to "Joe" who was extremely rude telling me that a call to me "wasn't a priority". He continued to rant and yell at me over the phone until I finally hung up.

My suggestion is NOT to do business with this company.

We made a raised vegetable garden and needed soil delivered to fill it. The woman we spoke to couldn't answer several of our questions and wouldn't even try to ask someone else for the answers. They just left us hanging and asked for us to call back in another time. After several tries we finally spoke to a woman, gave her the exact dimensions of the garden and she GUARANTEED that 3 scoops would be "more than enough". One of the brothers of the business brought our soil out and was very rude. He dumped the soil half in the garden and half in the yard when he could have easily dumped it all in the garden. When we called back in to complain about how the guaranteed amount didn't fill the garden as we were told it would and wanted to order more soil but didn't feel it was fair to pay a whole new delivery fee as they already guaranteed the specified amount would be more than enough, he belittled us, used profanity, and would not honor their delivery price as before or give us any respect at all. Very rude, very unreliable and messy. I will definitely not be doing business with them again and would recommend to steer clear of them.
