On 07/27/20, I purchased a Maydee wig "Nikki" at the Beauty Stop 2 store at 109 Shakespeare Lane in Columbia, SC XXXXX . The wig was $28.07 after tax. When I arrived back home, I opened the wig and I noticed that it was not the wig on the package it was a totally different wig.I began looking for imformation on the Maydee wig company and I was able to pull it up under Shake N Go Fashions. I tried for several weeks to reach someone.A represenative called back and I explained that this was not the correct wig in the package. She kept trying to convince me that it was the correct wig but it was not. She told me to take several pictures of the wig and to include the barcode and reciept. I mailed the wig to them and After a week or so she left me a message on the answering saying they compared it to another "Nikki" wig and it was the same wig. She stated she was gonna send me the wig back. At this point it doesn't look like they are going to exchange my wig, so I just want my money back. I have a witness that saw the wig when I took it out the package and it was another wig. I want the wig but if they don't want to replace I want my money back. This is false advertising because I purchased the wig based on the wig on display in the store.

According to the case filed, it appears that this customer has called the Manufacturing company (Shake N Go) directly to resolve this issue and the company has not been able to help. As the store owner of Beauty Stop 2, I was not aware of this issue because manufacturing companies do not relay down these cases to individual stores regarding their products and the issue was not brought back to the purchased store to my knowledge. If the customer wants to take this issue directly with the manufacturing company, that would be a matter of Ms. and Shake N Go company, not Beauty Stop 2.
However, if the customer still has the receipt for this wig to verify purchase plus if the item is still in its original packaging and tags, we can offer an exchange for the product that the customer desires, per store policy.
If there is an additional question or issue that I can help as the store owner, please stop by the store. If the customer wishes to resolve the issue with the manufacturing company about the product not matching the picture on the packaging, please file a case against the manufacturing company.

I accept the Beauty Stop2's solution because all I wanted was a replacement of the same wig.
