Thank you for mediating this consumer complaint from our customer, Case Number: [redacted] .Our company strives to make sure that our customers are 100% satisfied, so we take consumer complaints very seriouslyBefore customers commit to our day free trial, our customers have to affirm and acknowledge the terms & conditions for our autoship program by marking the T&C check-boxes.According to our records,customer ordered our Skin Cream and Eye Serum products on a day trial basis back on 03/13/and paid the shipping and handling fees of $and $4.95.The trial expired on 03/13/and due to the fact that our customer did not contact us to cancel their trial they were subsequently charged for the original shipments on 03/14/$for the Skin Cream and $for the Eye Serum.Customer had contacted our Customer Service on 04/27/and requested for the subscription to be cancelled,however the subscription was automatically cancelled on 03/27/due the account being flagged as a chargeback.Unfortunately, the chargeback processor and credit card companies have ruled the claim in our favor.At this time we are unable provide any refunds due to lost dispute.We appreciate your understanding.Please relay this message to our customer, and feel free to let us know if you should have any questions.Beautelift Customer Service Toll Free: 877-264-2851Email: [email protected]

Also, when I received the the shipment there was absolutely no literature explaining how much the product would cost or how to order/cancelWhen I made my first call I was never informed I had already been charged for the FREE trialPrior to the days I tried to get online to a website to see how much the product would cost me only to discover they have no website for ordering or cancellingThe bottom line is I was charged about $for ounce of face cream and eye creamThey make it way to fast to order without any are you sure screens and then difficult to cancel Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have yet to receive or see anything in writing regarding the 14 day subscription and it needing to be cancelled. My card was charged before the fourteen days were concluded. The only documentation I've received was the cancellation notices that were within the fourteen days. In regards to this complaint, it has been resolved The business agreed to reimburse me 50% and I agreed that Visa could close out their case.However, this resolution was due to my belief that you can only fight so many wars in life…The company offered me % and then finally agreed to
%.I do believe that they are a scam and took dollars for basically a trial amount of product, which they advertised to be free.Future customers should be advised that this business is a scam which enrolls you in a sham membership of which you are not aware,and then bills you for things you didnt order. I am out dollars and they refunded another This behavior should be illegal Apparently somewhere on the order there is a box you click which allows them to take out money you were not aware of agreeing to It is hidden, if it exists

I have been asked to send clarification on my complaint against BeauteLift in order to close this file.I have not had any correspondence with the company other than what was stated in my original filing of the complaintHowever, I contacted my credit card company (Citibank) after having disputed

Due to no cancellation the autoship program took effect.The following month on  05/22/2017 the customer was charged for new shipments,$89.95 for the Skin Cream and $87.92 for the Eye Serum. Customer contacted our Customer Service on 05/25/2017 and requested for the subscription to be cancelled, which we did .However we feel for our customer’s concerns and do apologize for the inconvenience, thus we will be providing a full refund for the charges on 05/22/2017,$89.95 for the Skin Cream and $87.92 for the Eye Serum for any misunderstanding when placing the order. The bottom line is I was charged about $250 for 1 ounce of face cream and eye cream. They make it way to fast to order without any are you sure screens and then difficult to cancel.

The trial expired on 10/08/2017 and due to the fact that our customer did not contact us to cancel their trial they were subsequently charged for the original shipments on 10/08/2017: $89.95 for the face cream and $21.98 for the eye serum.The customer contacted our Customer Service on 10/10/2017 and requested for the subscription to be cancelled, which we did. We also voided the charge of $21.98 for the eye serum and provided a partial refund of $31.48 for the face cream. However we feel for our customer’s concerns and do apologize for the inconvenience, thus we will be providing the remaining refund for the charge on 10/08/2017: $58.47 for the face cream for any misunderstanding when placing the order. Customer Contacted our Customer Service on 05/01/2017 and asked that the Eye Serum be cancelled, which we immediately did.Our Customer Service offered the customer a 35% discount on the Skin Cream, which the customer accepted.Our Customer Service also offered the customer to change their recurring date to 05/02/2017,which the customer accepted. I am rejecting this response because:  I did not read anywhere on the order website that I needed to cancel within a fourteen day period.  I placed this order in good faith with the understanding that  paid for the shipping for a 30 day free trial.  I also have two e-mails from this vendor stating my cancellations were processed on 3/27/17 which is within this fourteen day window I keep being hearing about but have yet to see in writing.
This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience dealing with this vendor.  The whole situation comes across as a scam and I've found others have filed complaints against this same vendor for the same reason.
