This individual brought his bow into my shop to have his string and cable set replaced. This is something I have done to literally hundreds of bows over the years I have been in business. When he asked me how much the strings would cost I told him they would cost $and I would
install them on his bow for him and the installation was included in that price. I then asked him if he wanted me to do further work such as setting up the string and tuning the bow which is necessary when the string sets are replaced. He said yes and then told me he wantd to add new arrow rest insert for the whisker buiscuit on the bow. As he told me the things he wanted me to do, I was filling out the work order and writing the things he wanted me to do and listing the price for each of the items and the service. When I got finished listing the things he wanted done, the invoice came out to an amount around $dollars. This individual is dilusional if he thinks people work for free and his claim that I told him I would do additional wdork and replace worn out parts on his bow for no extra cost is absolutely false. He watched me fill out the work order and when he came to pick up his bow, I gave him a copy of the work order along with his receipt which he paid and said nothing about the charges. I would also challenge this individual on his claim that he could get all the work I did on his bow elsewhere with the quality of work and parts for a mere $120.00. I've been working on compund bows for over years and I know better. BUT, here's what I am willing to do for this person. If he will bring his bow back inbto my shop, I will undo the work I have done and remove all the new parts I placed on his bow and refund him the difference between what he paid and the mere $for the strings and installation

First off, to call a client delusional is absolutely inappropriate given your inaccurate response to my complaintWhen my bow was dropped off, the additional cost was not stated by this individual, nor did I EVER get a call to disclose the ACTUAL price he intended to charge me WITHOUT my permissionUpon arrival to pick up the bow, *** accepted a credit card first based on the assumption of paying the ORIGINAL price of $plus other small accessoriesHe charged my card and unfortunately for me I did not look at the receipt until leaving seeing additional charges for unauthorized laborWhen you take a car to the shop, the mechanic will call you to advise you of the entire cost, not charge you with the assumption you would never notice*** *** ** *** *** quoted $with labor for the same exact jobIn the past week of trying to accomplish a resolution with ***, I have heard several others complaints about the un ethical work that *** has performedWhat is delusional is that *** and his business believe a customer would not actually look fully at the charges he didA $job that magically jumped to $is simply an impossible amount for the labor that was performed and almost DOUBLE what the quote originally wasIf the price changed, I would have expected a call notifying me of the different amount and would have said NO THANKS at that pointThe valley we live in is a small, SMALL valley and my word will be heard around so long as I have this bowExpect to pay at least $more for a simple job than what *** quotes you.
