Beall & Thies, LLC. Reviews (3)

As per our conversation earlier today, I am resending what I had sent when I responded to your original email of March 7th. You can see that I printed it out on March 7, 2015. Why you never received it via your link to the complaint response, I don't know. But basically I
said that the client hired me to prepare a design. My time, energy, expertise, knowledge were all expended to obtain all of the information required, including time spent with the zoning official to determine the applicable specifications needed if the client wanted to move forward with a pool. The design is intellectual property and I own it. So, I do not need to share this with the client after all of the grief she gave me. You will see from the email chain our conversation and the first email will have the clients desires to have a pool. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, but I have no intent to return any money to the client

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

Regards,
In regards to the companies response I don't agree with resolution on hand, did I have late payments yes but 350 dollars in late fees is ridiculous and when I asked about the late fees the manager told me not to worry about that when the vehicle got repossessed  from my home I was told by the repo man whom the company stated is a third party I would have to pay 500 to get my vehicle out when I get to the business guess what diffrent story this is the second time this happens. I was also told by the employees at this company just pay the 2,000 to get this issue over with. Also I'm told I'm paying 350 for a repossession where my vehicle wasn't even towed some random lady asked for my keys rudely and drove off what kind of business does that.

The design proposal specifically does not denote that the design is intellectual property.  It simply says that “Designer agrees to provide client with a scale drawing, detailing the above area.”.  [redacted] also told me in person that if I so chose, I could take the rendering to another landscape artist since I was paying $1000 for the rendering.  To me the exact words of “agrees to provide” actually means that I am buying the rendering and that it is not intellectual property.  I am not satisfied with her response and feel that she has gone back one her word.      Thank you so much for taking the time to help me.
