This company has no online website explaining their services, company information or receiving feedback on their work.
Their mailing address in Jacksonville is at a post office box rental location (Goin' Postal Jacksonville) and their alleged address seen on Yelp and a few other review sites for Orlando is owned by Prologis and leased to Brigg's Equipment.
Their BBB profile has the status of "being updated".
They don't answer the phone and don't return calls from voice mails.
They take the liberty of scheduling appointments without any consultation with the customer or any notice of scheduled appointments until the tech either arrives at your house or is on their way to your house.
Not sure how many additional RED FLAGS are needed to know this company is not legit and AHS continues to retain and assign them continuously.
It has been a range of 83-87 degrees inside the house. We have small children, one is an infant. We've been inconvenienced with staying with a family member for nearly a MONTH. Because of their company’s inadequacy and un-professionalism. I have been EXTREMELY patient. We feel like they are getting over on us and we are not a priority.
When a third technician was sent out, he called because he went to the wrong address, a simple difference is Drive vs. Place. At some point a little over an hour passes and I look outside to see the company van was not in the driveway. I checked the garage and he was not there. Later he sent a text saying he hollered into the house from the garage (a laundry room with a loud dryer going and a closed interior door) and said he waited in the garage 5 minutes. I have no idea how long he was gone. I responded that it was unprofessional, as I have a front door with a door bell and a phone number he could have notified me, of which he had because he called prior to arriving when he was at the wrong address, and that I would be requesting another technician. He replied with a smart comment about me not wanting to read a text and he was doing us a favor by ordering a new part instead of repairing it. I blocked his number so any other responses was not received. How unprofessional of them. AGAIN. I left a voicemail with the company, expressing my frustrations, because here we are again inconvenienced and accommodating our rearranged schedules to still have the job not complete. Of course no one called from the office, I had to call them, days later.
This past Wednesday, which was supposed to be the date for the OFFICIAL repair, the tech Cory took our unit apart, took out the A-Coil and said he had to go get the ordered part from Daytona Beach and he would be back in an hour, he also said he required payment, and we paid them $875 (for Freon). 3 hours later I called the office several times until someone called me back, a representative, she said the tech asked her to call because he was still waiting on the part, the place was closing in an hour and he was going to wait until then to see if it would come in, and that he'll contact me. At that point I ended the call. The remainder of the day no call. The next day, Thursday no call, not from the tech and not from the office. Bear in mind my husband and I have made sacrifices with our schedules to accommodate the hours they scheduled the techs. Today, Friday, I called the office several times until someone answered, I asked with whom I was speaking with, she said Renee, and I asked for my call to be escalated to a manager, she stated she was a manager. I continued, a bit relieved thinking that I would get somewhere finally with this company because I was speaking with someone from management. NOT. As I was very calmly explaining my experience she cut me off saying she spoke with me yesterday and I hung up on her. I never spoke with anyone Thursday, however, it was Wednesday and I ended that call, I did not “hang up on her”, as she was not speaking when I ended that call. As for my understanding the last thing of importance during that call was she stated Cory (the tech) would call. While I’m explaining this she continuously talks over me and I tell her she’s not listening, and SHE hangs up. At this point I am beyond annoyed that such un-professionalism and rudeness is occurring from a company being paid to do a professional job. I immediately called back. And spoke with Renee again, still very calmly. As I’m speaking I became emotional while I’m explaining my experience with tears. At no point did she apologize for our bad experiences with their company or empathy. The delays, their lack of professionalism, lack of communication in any form of correspondence, and no skills to adequately complete a service. She begins to talk over me again, says we can find another vendor multiple times. I then have no patience to give to this company anymore and said they we’re full of b[censored]. Of course SHE hangs up again. The truth hurts sometimes.
I have NEVER dealt with such an inadequate, inconsiderate, unprofessional (I cannot say that enough, because it’s the very minimal you should offer as a business), inconsistent and unreliable company ever. We STILL do not have a working AC. I have requested AHS submit a vendor change. We were told because this company has the work-order and the new ordered part (a LIE), they will have 24-48 hours to respond. In so many words we will have to wait for them release the work order. They will need to return our A-Coil and refund our $875, it should also be the $160 from May. But waiting a few more days, even a week to not have to deal with this company and finally prayerfully be assigned a professional company that knows what they are doing.
As for Beaches Air Conditioning & Heating, the integrity of this company from their management to technicians is zero. They are careless, meaning they do not care about you as a customer and clearly arrogant enough to think they will continue to gain business without any concern about the customers, of whom they would have no business if it weren’t for us.
We are sorry that she feels as if she was deceived We reuse refrigerant when possible, and in this case it was not recommended due to contaminationWe cannot help how much of the refrigerant cost that her warranty covers and/or does not coverWe also do not " make up" diagnostics, and would be more than happy to discuss this with her again if she would like to call our office
This reply could not possibly have been for me. Clearly my complaint was not about paying for refrigerant. It's was having to deal with a horrible company that is not professional with zero skills and no integrity. Beaches has also claimed they do not have our A-coil evaporator. The technician disassembled our unit took it out and loaded in his work van. My mother also witnessed this. (Pictures taken of the empty unit). He claimed he was going to Daytona Beach to pickup the part. However, they told AHS they did not have our A-coil evaporator. Another lie. Overall, by far THE WORST AC COMPANY EVER. Not only are they unprofessional and liars, they are THIEVES too! We will be taking legal action. Thank God we were assigned a company that was 100 times better!
Beaches Heating and Air has been to my house over 4 times since July. They have replaced the coils, been back 2 months later to fix the coils they didn't install correctly and openly admitted. They also have been back multiple times for not putting enough coolant in the system. The first time he shorted it 2 pounds after he installed the coils. Then came back another time and it was a different guy who said the previous guy didn't tighten something on the new coils so all the coolant leaked out. Here we are 3 months later and it is now not working properly again. When I called customer service they said they cant do anything because it has been over 30 days. So over 4 visits in 4 months and then the unit you worked on 4 separate times inst cooling again and they won't help without wanting to charge me again. They also did not report that it was their fault to my home warranty so I had to pay the home warranty multiple times for something that was their fault. Horrible customer service and they obviously do not know what they are doing or how to properly fix an ac unit. Homeowners beware!
Can you tell me how much they charged you per pound of refrigerant?

be more than happy to discuss this with her again if she would like to call our office.
