This email is sent in response to the above referenced complaint1) Mold concerns: We will send in maintenance today to investigate the concern and make any needed repairs to address the cause as well as to remediate as neededPlease allow access 2) Rental rates: The current rental rate for a bedroom apartment at the 50% income set aside level is $and has been since FebruaryThe issue is not one of timing or delays but has to do with proper administration of the complex government programs that this property must adhere toWe are in the process of updating the paperwork for ALL residents in order to determine which units may be overburdened and qualified for a reduced set aside and corresponding lower rental rateThis household is on the list as It meets the 40% requirements but is currently assigned a 50% designationThis generally occurs when all the lower cost units have been rentedIt is our policy to offer lower set asides to current residents, when they become available, before offering them to the general publicWe reduce rents to overburdened households based upon the date of occupancyWe are evaluating the current overburdened list and will be making changes that will impact October rentsIt appears that this household will receive notice of a rent decrease to $a month sometime in September, depending on how many lower cost units are available and how many others may be ahead on our list
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedPls give me collection agency's number , contact person name and help me for payment arragments because I SENT THEM $by my debit card lasy year it was on november but they dont accoun itThey really scare me and feel insecure how can I get deal with them maybe they will charge me more every time when try to fix they cahrge me different amountthank you for helping us Regards, [redacted]
We have investigated the file and history for this residentThere was a change in managing agent in February and the staff that handled this matter are no longer available to interviewHowever, we were able to find the file and the detail of charges and are in a position to assist in the
resolution of this matter. The file indicates that a balance of $was turned over to collectionsThe balance is made up of rent, pet damage, concession recapture, early termination fees, and fees for lack of proper notice. Based upon a review of the file and information contained in the complaint, it appears that the charges were assessed in conformance with the contract. It is our position that although charged in conformance with the contract, the charges are excessive relative to the loss of rent suffered, and an adjustment is appropriateWe are prepared to reduce charges by $which will bring the balance to $This sum also waives several years of interest that has built up as well, and represents our best offer. We are attempting to contact the collection service to modify the balanceThis should be completed before the end of the week.
