Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I did not receive the nail design that they assured me I could receive if I just upgraded to a gel nailThe nails are thick and chunky and they are very poor quality, so I want a full refund on the set of gel nailsI no longer trust this business, so I refuse to go back thereMy sister's nails were of such poor quality, and again, she was coerced into upgrading to a gel nail, when she wanted simple acrylicShe tried to remove the nails because they were itching intensely and she was afraid of infection, and she did damage to the underlying nail trying to remove the gel nailHad they followed instructions and used a simple acrylic, instead of coercing her into getting a gel nail so they could charge us even more money, I do not feel there would have been a problem as she has never had this terrible itching with a simple acrylic setI would like a full refund for her set as wellA reasonable resolution to this would be a full refund on both gel sets because they were of terrible quality and neither of us was satisfied with the service Regards, [redacted] I have included pictures of what I received versus what I wanted

All this could have resolved if Ms [redacted] came in right after so we can take care of the issues then.
If to refund the two sets of nails $45.00 each, I will do so.
She did paid in cash, so some one can come in the salon to sign/pick up the money or I can make a company check.

I find the staff at this location intimidating and have no desire to go into the shop. Please mail my refund made by check to my home. Any resolution that involves me appearing in their shop will not be satisfactory to me. My address is on file with the Revdex.com and they have my consent to forward that information to the shop.

The two sisters wanted to have an acrylic set on and a pedicure. (Basic pedicure and nail set are $25 per service.) Upon receiving the pedicure the women wanted...

to add on the $5 sugar scrub service. The women wanted a full set with gel polish which is $45. The women were aware of the prices, as the technician informed them and the prices are posted in the store. One woman stated "I don't care about the price," when she asked for the polish design. The technician did not charge extra for her designs.Her mother did call the store and talked with me. The mother claimed that I bullied her daughters into paying more than they originally planned. I responded that she was not present when her daughters made their decisions. The two women were well-informed of the prices and made the decisions on their own accord. The mother began raising her voice and being unreasonable while disputing the prices. I then hung up, as I had multiple customers to attend to.The women wrote a review of our business on Facebook. We replied to that review that we would like to resolve the situation, should the women return to the store in person. The women did not respond further.If the women would like a $35 refund, I will refund them to resolve the issue. Otherwise, I would be willing to redo the gel service at no additional cost. I hope that the women will agree to the terms of my proposition.Thank you for mediating the situation between the customer and my business. Had they followed instructions and used a simple acrylic, instead of coercing her into getting a gel nail so they could charge us even more money, I do not feel there would have been a problem as she has never had this terrible itching with a simple acrylic set. I would like a full refund for her set as well. A reasonable resolution to this would be a full refund on both gel sets because they were of terrible quality and neither of us was satisfied with the service.
