the back up camera on my 2014 f150 with 25,000 miles quit working. bartow ford gave me a quote of $600.00 to replace it. after I did some research on how to do it, I bought an exact ford replacement for $200.00. I replaced the camera myself in about 30 minutes. im sure a ford mechanic could do it faster. I also think bartow ford pays a lot less for the cameras.

it had nothing to do with inconvenience . it is that you are charging over $400.00 for less than an hours labor. Lee M W
Well my experience was so bad that I even had a sit down with the owner Benny. I bought a used truck from there for almost 20,000$ and the next day I had problems with it so the fight was on. I tried to work with Bartow Ford with these issues but I'm writing this because Bartow Ford has done more damage then helping like Benny says he thrives for. So on 6-15-2018 I bought a 2011 f150 after they sold 2 other trucks from under me. So the problems started. First was (2) days after I left the lot the truck was bogging out at 55 so I took it back in to them and they had to replace a turbo and spark plugs) NOT OFF TO A GOOD START ( which I asked why wasn't this addressed before selling it. So roughly a week after that MY back window is flooding the inside, so back it went to Bartow Ford, it sat there for a week before anyone looked into it and it was there for a total of 17 days. So finally they fix the turbo and replaced the 3rd brake light and pulled the back window out to reseal it. So I pick up truck from the Bartow Ford shop on 7-19-2018 and on 7-23-2018 I went to get into truck to go to another job and the smell of MOLD hit me. WHICH I HAVE PICS. Oh and I was told the mold I seen was glue (lol) So by this point I was over aggravated because the sales man that sold the truck to me no longer works there so I got bounced around by 3 of the used car manager and 3 other ppl. So I call capital one and advised them of the problems, which I notified them from day 1 just for my records. *** gave me a option so I basically gave Bartow Ford there problem truck back and apparently I got the owners attention and then I had a meeting with him (Benny)over the truck. Benny advised me if I changed my original reviews that he would work with me. ( which I deleted)(Which I thought was gonna be good from that point) so the next truck they showed me was on there lot but it was full of rust so of course that was outa the picture. So then they show me a burgundy one. (At this point I'm not really interested but because Benny said he would make it right so I still stuck with them to try to get a positive resolution. So in the mean time my credit was pulled 3 more times(hard inquiry) to try different lenders and the first truck was 12% interest which I didn't think was bad but when the papers on that burgundy truck came in, I about pooped in my paints. They had me at 20% interest and my payment went up another 100$ which at that time I just wanted to walk away. The best is yet to come. So I sign papers because they said it would go against me as REPO. Well I go to get into the burgundy truck and what do u know, there was problems with that truck. So every truck they showed me had problems but a SALE was all there worried about and not about making it right with me. Almost 2 months of going back and forth and I just had to wash my hands because they kept pulling my credit to just put me into another problem. I have bought vehicles from this establishment since there old location and I bought another truck from them in 2014 but after this ordeal I will never do business with this establishment. If your worried about how u look in the community then don't sell cars that have them type of problems. Yes I could of traded my car in on a brand new truck but I thought they had good used quality trucks. The only person that was consistent there was the last car salesmen they had me with which his name was rob. He tried his best to help me but I was over all the issues. Before I went to Bartow Ford my credit was good enough to buy the truck over the internet, now It's a mess. But I'll buy a truck but not from Bartow Ford ever again. Especially after Benny saying he was gonna help me with no good results, just another truck with problems ð???ð?¼ð???ð?¼ð???ð?¼ð???ð?¼

I put my car in the shop after a wreck and Bartow ford did not fix my car all the way
I was in a car wreck and I put my car in the shop at Bartow ford. They fixed the body damage and call me to inform me that my car was ready.I picked up my car and was not driving right so I took it back to Bartow ford, they keep it for a day and told me the damage they see now didn't have anything to do with the car wreck. But my car was driving perfect before the car wreck.
I'm looking for Bartow ford to finish fixing my car

Mr. had his vehicle repaired under a collision insurance claim. The insurance and the policy holder are Dorthy Wilson his mother. When Mr. brought his vehicle in for repairs he mentioned a whining noise coming from the transmission area. We notified customer that the repairs from the accident would have to be complete first, so we could then drive his vehicle to determine the location of whining noise. Once the collision part of the repair was complete, we test drove the vehicle and determined that the transmission was the place of the whining noise. Mr. picked up the vehicle from Bartow Ford and took it to a local Chevrolet dealership, where it was determined that the vehicle has 270,000 miles and the clutch and fly wheel are worn, causing whining issue. This has been determined to be normal wear and tear on transmission and not accident related. It is up to the insurance company not Bartow Ford whether or not they will pay for the repair. The area of damage was only front bumper area and did not impact transmission or engine. I spoke with Mr. today and told him we would contact local Chevy dealership to make sure it was not accident related.
