I do not recommend Byrd's Sewer Rooter LLC in Canon City. I have used this business a couple times in the past 25 years, with limited success, and will no longer call them. Their prices are cheap for a reason... However, if you need any follow-up or additional customer service, you are out of luck.

In this case, the technician broke a cap inside of a drain inside the house, didn't have a replacement, came back the next day with a new cap that didn't fit, and has never returned. Also, the same technician left the outside sewer cap off after performing only a partial cleanout. 2 months later, the area was covered in dirt, leaves, & debris, and the line was plugged again.

When we called Byrd's, the office denied that the technician would have left the cap off, and said that there was nothing they would do, and would not be back to the house to fix the problem. Because the office told us they would not fix the problem, my son started cleaning out the debris that was in the pipe from the outside.

The technician showed back up at the house in a personal, unmarked car. My son said the technician was offensive, combative, and tried to intimidate him by stepping toward my son when my son told the technician that no one else had been in that area of the yard, so it had to be the technician's fault that the cap was off for so long. My son said he initially had a wrench in his hand, and dropped the wrench to the ground when the technician took a step toward him. Words were exchanged. The technician left the yard with my son following behind. At this point, my husband saw my son, with a cell phone in this hand, following the tech out of the yard. My son took pics of the license plate on the techs vehicle, so the tech called the police, & lied that he was chased out of the yard with a pipe wrench! When I called the owner to discuss things in a civil manner, he was less than civil & was mad that my son took pics of the license plate, and said personal things about my son. The owner also said that his wife was with the tech in the vehicle, and saw the tech being chased out of the yard by my son with a pipe wrench in his hand. My husband saw no such thing happen.

We are not comfortable that the tech & the ownerâ??s wife showed up at the house in a personal, unmarked, vehicle, after we were told that no more services would be provided. What was their point? This business has been in town for many years, and is not a member of Revdex.com or Chamber of Commerce. If you are looking for a reputable, civilized business to work on sewer/septic/plumbing issues, call someone else!!

Our Family can never say Thank You enough to Byrds Plumbing Sewer Rooter Service here in Canon City Colorado. My parents have some plumbing problems and we called Byrds and they came out in no time at all and told us the problem we have. Coming out a second time to continue educating us on what needs to be done. They went the extra mile of contacting other people to get involved to help get the job done.
They say keep the business going in your own home town and I'm here to say and spread the word, Byrds Plumbing and Family is the way to go.
Their pricing is unbelievable and affordable and the experience we have had with them is beyond measure.
