Review: Barry Abshear Landscape Services did a landscape project for us for a [redacted] in Fairfiled CA. He was paid in advance to pay for the material and then paid the reminder of his bid when the project was completed. He as not paid the supplier the amount owed for the landscape material & the landscape supplier is going after us & the owner to pay his bill. He owes over $8,000.Desired Settlement: Pay the bill to the supplier.

Barry Abshear Landscape Co. landscaped my new home in June 2006. This spring, I hired them again to remove some dead plants, plant new ones, and put new mulch down in both front and back yards. They did that on April 19th, 2013. They planted approximately 20 small plants. The largest of the plants were to be placed on the back fence of the property. Three of these plants died; therefore, to keep the same size and have it look right, the plants need to be replaced as soon as possible. I contacted [redacted] the employee that planned the job, and he even came out at a later date to see the dead plants. He told me at the time it was hard to find the plants, because most nurseries don't carry the plant unless it is blooming. But that he would find them, and get back to me to replace the plants and finish the job. Unfortunately, I trusted [redacted] and the company, and paid them in full in the amount of $1,325 for the job. Now, after weeks have gone by, and numerous phone calls, I am

getting no response from them. In addition, they did not complete eliminating one plant, and removing the roots of another that they disposed of, so that now, the roots are giving off little babies, coming through the soil, and it looks terrible. My marital status is WIDOW, and I truly believe that they are taking advantage of me, droping me as a customer. I trusted them, and I do believe in "good faith" agreements....never did I think they would do this to me. I am upset, mad and disappointed. Please help me in getting them to finish the job correctly. Desired Settlement: I want them to finish the job!! Replace the dead plants, remove the one they missed, and remove the roots of the plant that is putting out small plants in the ground. That is all I want.
