We received many postcards after buying our new home that offered a gift card. I called and we set up an appointment for someone to come out and talk to us about water quality. Russ came out and was super nice and professional. He was never pushy and was able to provide some great information. We had our unit put in that day! We are still living in our rental while doing some work at the new house, but I stop by every day on my way to work to get water from the new home.
I got a card for a $199 sift card from Walmart promising no purchase necessary if I listened to a company representative give a demonstration of a wa
They promised a gift card but never gave me one. My wife was here as a witness that we did what they asked.
I did what they asked and they did not send me the gift card
After speaking to Mr. there was some miscommunication as to the amount of the gift card.Barron Services does not and has never offered $199 gift cards. Also the phone number that was called was not to the mainline at the office which has created the delay in his receiving the gift card. We will be sending out his $100 gift card promptly.
The purpose of this is to highly recommend Tony D and Barron Services for your water treatment services. His team recently installed a new system in our "new" home. From the time they arrived until they left, the installers were very professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. Once installation was complete, they cleaned the equipment and the area then explained the system to us. We enjoyed working with the installers and Barron Services!
They never send my gift card and they say they going to send my 100$ gift card by email in 7 to 10 days
I never receive my gift card
They never send my 100 $ gift card
We have all of our customers fill out a survey in order to receive the gift card. Unfortunately the survey never made it to the office. Her gift card will be mailed out today 4/4/2018. We also have no record of her calling for her gift card prior to the complaint. Had she called the office this would have been rectified at an earlier date.
Water softening system was misrepresented to justify outrageous price/promised products not provided
I responded to a new resident offer for a $100 gift certificate concerning a whole house water softener system. The company was Baron Services, LLC, Debary, Florida. The salesman came out and extolled the virtues of the latest water softener. One of the features was that there was no maintenance of any kind. I closely questioned him about that since it seemed to be quite a claim. He was adamant. He used the company sales manuel showing features, comparisons, etc. I personally checked the Revdex.com rating that was given as part of the sales pitch. He showed us a picture of the system, which was a stylish cylinder with a completer readout display at the top. Also the unit included 5 years worth of special products of all kinds that worked well in soft water (shampoos, dish washing soap, laundry soap etc.( with the first samples to be delivered shortly after the installation of the system. We eventually bought the system on November 11, 2017 and it was soon installed. When I saw that there was an additional piece to the unit I asked the installer what it was. He told me it held the salt for the water softening. I was not happy. I know what a salt water softener system is and would have recognized it if the picture of the system has included it. I would also have been able to comparison shop to find out that I paid about $3000 too much for the unit. (The cost was $5995.) Adding salt is definitely maintenance. At no time was the word "salt" mentioned. I feel that the sales manuel deliberately avoided the mention of salt as the softening agent so you couldn't comparison shop and find out that you were being grossly overcharged. Also the soap products never arrived. Upon calling the salesman , he told me to deal with the company, it was not his problem. I have no idea how this company got a decent rating with Revdex.com. The salesman used the company's manuel and showed us every page, I feel completely defrauded. In hindsight I should have had the installer uninstall it and take it back but I am not that kind of person. Also this unit does not even come with a manuel. (I asked the installer) I also have this bad feeling, that if I had said that the price was too much the salesman would have negotiated. I feel like I have just been cheated by a used car salesman. As for the soap supplies, I don't feel like I should have to chase them to give me what was promised over three months ago. Finally the $100 gift certificate did not ever come in the mail as promised. The old saw is definitely correct "The check is in the mail. With what they took me for you would think they would bend over backwards with customer service. How this company ever got a high Revdex.com rating is beyond me.
I feel that Barron Services should refund me any amount they charged that exceeds what a comparable system would have cost (including the "free" soap products for 5 years)
What Mr. purchased was not a Water Softener, it is a Water Conditioner and there is a big difference between the two. The soap information was emailed to him on 11/22/2017 and must have have been overlooked , I resent this information on 3/1/2018 at 8:45 am. There is certainly a picture of the salt container in our presentation and our reps are taught to notify customers that salt will be needed once or twice a year depending on water usage. I called at 8:50 on 3/1/2018 and offered Mr. 9 bags of salt for the confusion and he refused. As far as the gift card, we did not have a correct mailing address and I have since updated that in our system. The check will be mailed out today 3/1/2018, I will be emailing him a manual as well. We have no record of Mr. ever calling the company to address his concerns, had he done so this could have been handled in a timely manner months ago.

Subject: Re: Revdex.com Complaint Case#*** (Ref*)
Mr.;
I received a phone call from Barron VP *** M. Although his response to me was unsatisfactory, he DID respond. However, offering me $45 worth of salt was more insulting than not doing anything. Also referring to my complaint as "buyer's remorse" is very offensive to a Southerner. After extensive research I cannot find any whole house water CONDITIONER that even approaches $5000 (this is taking off $1K for the membership and 12000 pts with gohealthy360 which I figure MIGHT be worth $1000.) There are no consumer evaluations of the manufacturer of this product (It is not Barron Services) and it doesn't even have the manufactures name on it (The unit is conveniently enclosed in a plastic cover that cannot be removed without uninstalling the tank). They purchase it from the manufacturer and I am convinced I could have purchased a similar unit for 1/2 the price. I sincerely believe that the salesman have great leeway on the price and I got took me for the sucker I was. IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTICE that Mr. did not address the complaint which was: If I knew it was a whole house water conditioner that used salt I would have realized that no such unit was worth that amount of money. It was not that I have to put a few dollars of salt in it or that I did not receive the $100 gift certificate; it was if I had been told it used salt I would have been alerted as to what I was actually purchasing and would not have spent $6000 on a whole house salt water conditioner. Mr. made no effort to explain why his unit was worth that kind of money or to address the main issue of the complaint. It is quite obvious that he has no interest in having a satisfied customer. What is sad is I just decided to forget it, walk away and email Revdex.com to remove my complaint (I had actually already typed the email) when I read what Mr. answer to my complaint. He said that if I had contacted him personally he would have handled it in a timely manner?!!!
Handled it how? By offering me 9 bags of salt? How disingenuous.
Just in fairness the water IS GREAT and I like the system. I just was overcharged!
Save your money folks and shop elsewhere where you can be sure that you get value for your money.
This was my first time I have ever filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.
Respectfully;
*** A.
We offered a resolution to Mr. and he refused. If the Revdex.com would like to help resolve this issue so that it benefits both parties we would be more than happy to resolve the issue at hand.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is disingenuous. Did he not read my answer? $45 of salt is not a "resolution". Not knowing that is was a "salt system" when I bought it has brought into the equation of it's fair market value. That is the problem. If Mr. still stands on the fact that he only made a reasonable profit on a "superior" system, then please tell me who manufactures this system, show me some independent product testing and evaluation of the system, and some sort of consumer report that shows it is a fair price for what I got. AGAIN, THE SYSTEM IS FINE. Is the lifetime warranty any good?
Depends on the reliability and honesty of the seller. Right now, I would like too see some answers to my questions, not a lot of posturing. If the Revdex.com has a suggestion of how to resolve this, I would certainly consider it!
I received a number of cards offering a $100 dollar gift card to various companies, At least three different cards came from the same soliciting company (they said they were the same) and had to do with getting water tested without any obligation to buy. We said okay and a person came out. His business card did not have his name and he would not leave any other materials to research or read that I asked for that he had showed me from his sales book. He tried to convince me that if I changed my mind, I would get a full refund if the equipment had not been installed, but he also wanted me to sign a finance contract with another company before he left. He stated full refund if I found another comparable system that I liked better (and some other wording) and denied any legal issues with the right to change your mind when presented with a sales done in your home (and not requested). The kicker is that we really are interested in a system and know some things that he still tried/had to go through before he got to the pricing. He also said there was a $500 free install if I signed today, before he left. He stated that the system was totally guaranteed for life, but then stumbled some when we asked details. Of course, he never left or spoke about the $100 gift card again, even though I mentioned it and that he was to leave something with us multiple times. And he never followed up. I tried calling, and I have recently left an email.
I have personally called and left messages for Mr N over the past week. I have left my business number as well as my personal cell number and I have not heard back from him aside from an email he sent yesterday evening 2/21/2018. If he chooses to call I will be more than happy to address his concerns.

VP- Barron Services
Yes, we did miss each other three times, though I did cal his office twice and the number he gave me once.
We did eventually hook up the following day. I was offered an strong apology, told that the information the salesperson gave me on more than one thing was not true, that he would personally make certain that I received the promotional funds I was promised, and offered me a very nice deal for my troubles. I have yet to receive the promo, though it is still a little early to complain. I do not know if I will do business with him, but I am more open to it. I was supposed to also GET DETAILS AND INFO ABOUT THE UNIT ITSELF, AS I CANNOT FIND TRUE RATINGS OR PRODUCT INFO. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THOSE AND WOULD NEVER PURCHASE WITHOUT THEM.
Barron water service didn't keep their promise of sending me the promised gift card for testing my continued efforts to contact their customer service
Barron water treatment company is deceptive and misleading. I don't know how they got 5 stars on Revdex.com. I am questioning the bureau's integrity now. The story began when they sent me numerous post cards to my new house offering 100 gift card to test my water. I called and scheduled for the tech to come in and they have confirmed to me that upon the completion of the test, they would give me the promised gift card. They first scheduled the appointment on 11/8/2017 and the tech never showed up. Wasted hours of my precious time waiting for them. After calling them about it, they lied saying that the tech came but no one was at home. That was a lie and a redflag for a dishonesty company. Anyhow I scheduled for the tech to come in on 12/9. Someone named Jeff came and did a 3 hour long sales pitch for me to purchase their product. This was not a simple water test. It's a complete sales pitch. Anyway, I told them I needed time to digest all the information and there's no way for me to make a decision of spending thousands of dollars on something on the spot. Then he made me sign a demo completion paper and told me that the gift card would be mailed out to me by the headquarter. Now it's three months, I have never got anything from that company ever! I called them numerous times, the guy who picked up the phone always said he wasn't the customer relationship team but he would pass my request to the customer relationship manager who was supposed to follow up. Guess what? Nobody ever followed up. That made me think that this service is a complete scam. I am very upset about this incident. They need to keep their promise and apologize for their behavior.
They need to mail the $100 *** gift card as promised to my address immediately***.
On 2/7/2018 the owner of Barron Services Anthony Durocher called and left a message for the customer . We are researching the claim as this is the first it has been brought to our attention and will certainly mail out the gift card in a timely manor.

Dear Mr.,
I am writing to let you know that the VP of Barron Services called me and addressed the issue with me promptly after the case was established. It turned out that there was some miscommunication involved resulting that my requests were never received by the relevant department to take prompt action. He was very courteous and apologetic which set a very good impression on me that the company's leadership take responsibilities and prompt actions to reach a satisfactory solution for an issue that is related to customer service. He said he would make sure the promised gift card/check is sent out today. I trust that he will most certainly keep his words. I am glad I was able to reach the management of Barron Services and that it is a great management that treats customer relations seriously. That said, I would like to withdraw my complaint and have the case closed upon receiving their compensation.
Thanks so much,
Warmly
My husband & I had searched numerous water filtration systems for the home that we recently purchased. When RussT*** came to our home & explained the Barron system, we were immediately knew that this was the system for us to purchase. Russ explained everything in detail, answered all of our questions and arranged for installation the very next day. The young man who came to install the systemm (can't remember his name) was a very hard worker, very personable and did a great job. We are very happy with the system. The very first night after my husband took his shower commented that it was the best shower he has had in the six months that we have been in Florida. The water taste great, our skin is soft & cleaning of the bathroom & sinks has become much easier. Thank you Russ for coming to our home & changing our lives..
upon presentation finish by john orriola employee of barron's LLC- we were led to believe we received a $100 - gift card ...we never did
we are now considering taken this to Florida's attorney general. I want the 100 dollar gift card promised in greetings to the neighborhood ad...we sat through and hour long presentation...our bathroom was left with wet toilet paper rolls under the sink...but we waited patiently for the promised gift after also completing the survey...where's the gift promised Barron ?
we want the 100 dollar gift card promised for inviting this company into our home on the premise we were to receive the gift of 100 dollars uopn completion of the presentation and answering the ending survey ...which we did !...it's was back in September Barron ...where's the gift ?
On 11/17/2017 I spoke with Mr *** to notify him that that rep is no longer with the company and his paperwork got lost in transit. His $100 will be mailed out promptly.
Our household cleaning efforts increased, despite promises otherwise. We got mold buildup in both toilets and showers. We want the system removed.
We purchased Barron's Solar Shield water softerner system in April 2017. By June 2017 we noticed that mold was building up in the toilets and showers. We contacted the company by phone and email, but got no response. In July we contacted the company again by email and phone to say that we had turned their system off and would like to have it removed and our financing of the system refunded. We contacted the company again in August, and again, no response. In September we contacted the finance company, Aqua Finance, to report that we were dissatisfied with our purchase and that in good faith we had made several attempts to contact Barron Services.
Our account number with Aqua Finance is ***. Our sales rep was Louis S.The payment amount is $48/month.
We would like the system removed and the balance on our account with *** refunded.

I called *** on the morning of 10/17/2017 to verify the customer's complaint. *** informed me that the only call that they received was on 10/9/2017. We have no records of the customer calling in for service, or any emails as they have claimed. I have called the customer at 9:20 and left a voicemail message to schedule a service appointment per our contract.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
After returning their call from this morning, they continue to deny ever receiving my message through the website in June, where I told them we wanted the equipment removed, that we were very unhappy with it.
They claim that they cannot remove the equipment since we have been using it for 6 months. I corrected him to say we turned it off in June and have not used it since then. We just want the equipment removed and our bill with *** Finance to go away.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
There is nothing in the system to be repaired or replaced. The system does not work the way we thought it would. It caused mold to build up in our toilets, sinks and showers. We have had the unit turned off since June and then requested that Barron Services come to pick it up. That is still our only acceopable resolution to this problem.
The system removes chlorine from drinking water supplies. This was shown during the presentation at time of purchase. The ring in the toilet is not mold, it forms from a lack of chlorine in the water supply. To prevent the ring build up in the toilet occasionally bleach is needed. On 11/16/2017 I sent a technician out to check the system, and everything is working as it should.
I recently purchased a solar shield water treatment equipment from Barron.
The presentation done by john O was excellent,he answered all my questions, did all the tests and presented perfectly,
Highly recommended.
