Signed contract to have my condo renovated in May 30, 2019 and expected time frame is 20 days for job completion, two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom total gut job. Contractor didn't complete work and have done partial demo since the 1st week of June. Only laid a few tiles on July 5, 2019 in the kitchen after I mentioned in my email that I've spoken to my lawyer. Two weeks past nothing is completed and requesting more monies. I needed my unit by the end of June and now we are in the second Week of July and not making efforts to finish the job. Cancel when we should meet up. To date have not sent me the outstanding invoices for the two payments made of $5650.00 totaling $11,300.00. This has put financial strain on me and my family, paying mortgage for a home I'm not in , paying for storage and causing stress. My family place is currently going to get Reno and I wanted us all to stay in my condo but now we have to pay high rent.
