My home equity line of credit was closed without my authorization. I apologize, I am not sure why I did not receive the earlier emails, I will check my spam folder. [redacted]'s issue with our closing of his Home Equity loan is difficult to understand and by saying this I know he will call me stupid or incompetent based on his prior discussions with my coworkers. I am sorry he feels this way. I have in my possession: a letter from the law firm representing him at his mortgage closing with an attached check representing payment in full for his loan with us, dated March 6, 2013 a fax from the same law firm dated 3/1/13 with a "Mortgage Payoff Request form signed by [redacted]. The notice contained the following verbiage directed at us "You are further instructed to immediately suspend this account and cease any further disbursements or withdrawals on this mortgage account and close same if it is an equity credit line account." This statement was in bold and underlined and the form signed at the bottom by [redacted]. His new mortgage lender, I believe Green Tree Financial, may have made the pay-off and closing of our loan for a number of valid reasons but [redacted] needs to correspond with them if he feels that was not what they promised him. As for his request for me to say that he was discriminated against for no reason I will not acknowledge something that is not true. We did not discriminate, we did what he asked us to do whether he realizes it or not. Thank You [redacted]. [redacted]
