Business violated 2005 Civil Codes Sec ***-*** Title *** Contract For Health Studio. This business did not provide a contract in writing upon signing as described in (***), owner terminated my contract without notice, stating he had the right to deny service to anyone. When I requested for termination to be provided in writing and addressing what policy I had violated in the contract, he refused. I followed up in writing via text message and he responded “We will not be providing anymore information including contract”. He also stated in writing via text message that “It is very important to us that the people that come in and join class represent the atmosphere we are looking for.” In Accordance to *** b).... unfair, dishonest, destructive, unscrupulous, fraudulent, and discriminatory practices... arbitrarily terminating my contract seems unfair and based on discriminatory practices. I have evidence that I have been paying my dues in a timely manner, attending classes regularly (in top 12 for attendance), and abiding by their policies. This business continuously harasses members to dónate, buy new items, and pay to join new challenges. Emails are sent to your personal email almost on a daily basis. I expressed at the time of signing my contract that I did not want to engage in that practice, but just wanted to come to class to exercise and leave. I also expressed that to him during the conversation held prior to him stating my contract would be terminated. I have medical reasons as to why I do not want to engage in extra activities, other than working out during scheduled sessions.
