Bar Harbor Whale Watch

Trip was shortened and we were taken to an area that has historically seen less whales so that the boat could get passengers back for cruise ship departure. Paying customers not associated with cruise ship should be warned of this policy so that another trip could be selected. There was no price reduction for the shortened trip. Not even an apology. They just made an excuse that sometimes they see whales and sometimes they don’t. I agree with this policy as long as the boat goes to the location with the best chance of seeing whales which it did not per report from a crew member and office staff. If you are going to use this company, please check to see where the boat is going and if the trip itinerary will be change to accommodate passengers.
