I hired Jesse B to plow my elderly parents driveway and made it very clear their driveway needed to be cleared early in the morning. Jesse agreed and committed to being plowing early for them. He even stated that since it was a gravel driveway he could replace the gravel in the spring as his family owned a gravel yard if needed. However, this was not the case. In fact, there were several times Jesse did not show up at all and one time my step-dad had him leave because it was ~5pm or later and their driveway was already done. After the last ~6in snow my parents had decided they did not want Jesse on their property again. I asked Jesse for a refund and offered to let him keep $100 of the $300 I paid him via Venmo up front. On February 7th Jesse said he would scrape up the money and refund me, however, he has yet again not kept his word. He has ignored my phone calls and 6 text messages. At this time I am requesting a full refund of $300 so I can put this money towards taking care of my elderly parents. Jesse was paid up front in a good faith effort and agreement that he would keep his promise and he didn't. I have now paid this man for services he did not render. This is theft.
