In response to the letter received dated 7/8/2014, Baldwin Asphalt Paving Inc. is submitting the following information in regard to a complaint made against this company for work done at the customer’s address on August 30,2013.

Mr. [redacted] notified a representative of this company, Jay Jones, as to a repair issue with The asphalt driveway breaking apart in February of 2014. Mr. Jones had relayed to him that we would repair the driveway, however, the asphalt plants are closed for the winter in this part of the United States. Due to the nature of the seasonal asphalt business, we are trying to incorporate this repair into our busy schedule. Mr. [redacted] also has a tree root/stump problem in the same area, that is being currently serviced by a tree company. We cannot repair the driveway until this issue is resolved. However, to make the customer happy, we will try to free up several workers to resolve this issue quickly and to the satisfaction of Mr. [redacted]. We have already spoken with Mr. [redacted] concerning the repair of the asphalt and he is apparently happy with the resolution.

We believe that Baldwin Asphalt Paving Inc. has acted in a courteous and professional manner when this issue was first presented to us by Mr. [redacted]. We were trying to fit it in our schedule in a timely manner when we received the letter from your office. We stand behind our workmanship and products in an effort to serve our customers to the best of our ability. We feel that Mr. [redacted] will be satisfied with the finished product when completed.
