At the end of June, I was getting my power unit for an irrigation system repaired. This company had come out twice and never was able to fully fix the issue. There are still parts the company had not brought out yet. Both trips out cost me $600 and in total this whole issue was going to cost me around $1,093. I believe they should have had it fixing by now, especially with how expensive their service calls are. I have yet to pay them, but they want me to before the service is finished. They have even tried charging my old credit card which I go stopped. Now they want me to bring my power unit in. At this point, I just want to cancel my services with this company and not be billed.
Mr. had us out last October 2017. We made 2 separate service calls at that time, and at each visit we got the unit running for Mr.. We do charge a service call of $75.00 per visit and hourly charge of $125.00 for mechanics. This accrued a bill of $600 for just the service calls and time for mechanics to work on the power unit. Our service manager repeatedly told Mr. to bring the unit in to repair the issue correctly. Mr *** never brought the unit in and we had not billed him for any service calls or mechanic time at that time. We specially ordered in the parts for this unit and held them here at the store for him to bring it in, son on July 1, 2018 we closed the ticket and charged Mr. for the work that had been done in October and the parts we had specially ordered in for his repair. Mr. called in on July 2, and we promptly gave him credit for all charges (the service calls and time that we had done in October 2017). The customer was charged nothing. This customer also came into our offices on July 10 warning to settle up on this and we waived all fees just to appease the situation. We received this notice today, July 11, 2018 stating Mr. reported us to you. We always try to work with our customers on every aspect to make sure they are taken care of and pleased with the services that we provide. We apologized to Mr. and assured him this would never happen again.
We absorbed the $600 for the time and expense used in trying to accommodate this customer. We feel we went above and beyond what was needed in this situation.
Please advise any follow up you may need from us to clear this matter up.
