Bainbridge, H.C. Inc

On May 21, 2014, I purchased a United States flag and a solar light that mounts on top of a flag pole from Bainbridge, H.C. Inc. in Syracuse, NY. Both products cost $158.40, which I put on my Visa credit card that deducts from my checking account. On May 23, 2014, the $158.40 was deducted from my checking account. Then, on May 29, 2014 another $158.40 was deducted from my checking account by the business. I called my bank and they told me I could refute the charge with the bank, or call the business to get a refund. If I chose to refute the charge with the bank, they would refund my money, cancel my current credit card number, and issue me a new credit card. I decided to call H.C. Bainbridge to get them to reverse the second charge. I called the business on Friday, May 30th to inquire why I was double charged. The owner told me he would correct the problem on Monday June 2nd. I called the business on June 2nd, and the owner told me not to worry because he was taking care of the overcharge. After no action taken by the business, I called them again on June 4th. They did not answer the phone, so I left a voice mail message for them to return my call. As of this writing, I have not been refunded the second $158.40 charge.
