I will never hire Bailey again. Two problems. One: the tree itself. Despite our agreement that they would not cut off any live branches, they did anyway, one of which shaded our patio table. We USED TO spend a lot of time out there but now we can't. Not in this heat. Problem two: Their cleanup was very poor. I had to get up in the tree and fish out ten or eleven branches they cut but didn't remove. Also, they moved a lot of our lawn stuff out of their way and they put nothing back. When I emailed they about my displeasure, their response was crickets. My advice is to find someone else to trim your big trees.
An incomplete cleanup is never acceptable! We are sincerely very sorry this wasn't done correctly. We did receive and email about the poor cleanup, the estimator remembers calling because you both went to the same university. He apologized for the poor cleanup and asked if he could come out to finish it but was told that it was already handled.
The proposal that was given, and agreed to, had this description for the tree pruning.. "Remove all dead, dying, diseased, cracked, or broken branches & crossing or interfering limbs 1 inch in diameter and over. Lighten ends as needed. Allow for 3 feet of clearance on the sides and 6 feet over top of structures. Allow for 13 feet 6 inches of clearance over roadways and 8 feet of clearance over sidewalks as per city code. Remove debris & clean up work areas." If there was specific concern or request about certain branches remaining it's not reflected in the proposal. Nowhere on the proposal does it state to only prune deadwood. (Crossing or interfering limbs, lightening ends as needed, and clearance, all include live branches). If this service description did not cover your concerns, we should have been contacted before any work was done so we could make any needed adjustments to the proposal before sending a crew out to do the work.
On our proposal, in the Terms and Conditions section, it reads "5--All movable objects under and around the tree, and in the pathway between the tree and the service truck, should be moved out of the work zones prior to a service crews arrival." Our service crew had to move all the items under and around the tree, we apologize that they were not put back. However, This is your personal property and you know the correct placement of the items in the yard. Had this term been met there would not have been an issue.
If we do poor work we deserve a bad review. But on the same token, we don't deserve a misrepresentation of the situation.
From your statement: "We did receive and email about the poor cleanup, the estimator remembers calling because you both went to the same university. He apologized for the poor cleanup and asked if he could come out to finish it but was told that it was already handled."
This is not true. I did not receive a call from anybody at your business and we received no apology.
It's a shame we had to put up our review on the Revdex.com in order to get a response from your company.
