client any changes or comments that the client hasAll clients sign an engagement letter which states that the clients will be charged for all work and communication done on their caseThis includes all phone calls, emails, and letters to and from the clientOn one occasion, the client appeared in person to deliver documents to the office and was charged for time spent discussing her case with the attorneyRegarding the petition for maintenance, the client expressed a specific concern which the petition for maintenance addressedThe client was informed that the petition would be prepared and the prepared petition was sent for her reviewThe client later stated that she did not want the petition to be filed with the courtThe client was advised at that time that the petition would not be filed but that the petition was the only way to secure her interests and that she should reconsider filing the petitionAfter a period of weeks, client was asked if her position regarding the petition remained the same and she said that it hadLater, the client continued to express the same concerns and she was advised that filing the petition is the legal channel through which she can secure her interestsOur office has diligently represented the client's interests in her dissolution of marriage caseWe have called her repeatedly in an attempt to resolve any billing concerns she may have, but she has not returned our callsWe could welcome the opportunity to resolve this matter

I was NEVER asked what my answers to the initial complaint were*** used HER answersI was charged for sending corrections to ***'s answers twice, charged for amending the answers twiceThe Maintenance was prepared I said NO, it was amended several times and I was charged for that even though I said NOAttorney Fee petition was prepared, amended several times and never filedThe meeting NEVER took placeI demand proof that the initial Answers were provided by meNothing on the billing statement indicates that any discussion took placeNo emails sent regarding my answersClients should not be charged for preparing documents they do not want and is not in their best interest

As of today's date, the office has worked directly with the former client, and attempted to resolve any complaints that she might have hadIn the interest of settling this matter, the office refunded all charges that were disputed by the clientDespite the refund, our office stands by the work done in this case and firmly believes that the work was done to protect the interests of the clientIf there are any other questions or comments regarding this matter, please contact the office directly and we will be happy to assist you in any way possible
