I originally brought my vehicle to them on 11/28/17 I had spoke with Nivea on the phone in regards to my vehicle shutting off, not parking and overheating. Upon what they called a "full diagnosis" I was told they needed to replace the spark plugs, flex pipe, axel and valve cover gasket. Upon completion I was charged $1361. Not even a full week of having my car it continued to overheat, leak and not park. The vehicle was brought back to AAMCO on 12/5/17, then I was told it was the transfer case after having the car for weeks now waiting for the part which then I took a loan out for $1,099. ONE DAY LATER, the car gave me more problems all resembling the first issue I came to them about. The car was immediately brought back to AAMCO for the third time which then I was told it was the water pump needed to be replaced which I paid an additional $439.89 to take the car home on 01/17/18 . On 01/18/18 the car shut off and would not turn back on. After contacting them, the owner reassure me that they are so sorry and will get the issue fixed at no cot plus offered me a loaner car. I was never given a loaner car and then told they cant fix it tat it was the engine. Apparently the oil pump had been going the whole time and they neglected to diagnose the right issue the first time. They literally have had my car for months just to tow it back to my house in the same condition I sent it to them and now I'm at a loss for approx. $3000 worth of work I paid them. I kept copys of all my receipts including with original diagnostic which states the additional problems that I didn't fix which where some sensors, ball joints, and tire rods . Not once was it recommended on my FIRST diagnostic that the engine had any issues or that theres was an issue with the transfer case oil pump or water pump. I am very upset I lost out on a lot of money and was given back a car that doesn't work after them having it for such a long period of time . on 01/19/18 they had mid town auto tow my car home and handed me the key.
