BJ's and Sons Paving left a sales flyer on our mailbox in mid-October. We called to get an estimate on sealing our driveway. He came to look at it on 9-22-2012. When he was here, he told us they had another concrete job nearby & that he could offer me a good rate to pour a concrete sidewalk in my back yard in addition to sealing my driveway. He came back on Monday evening 9-24-12, telling us if we signed a contract that evening, he would take 20% off the price of the concrete (due to the other job being nearby.) He said he needed the contract signed that night because he needed to do both jobs quickly. The other customer wanted the concrete right away. He would be back to do the work as soon as Miss Utility came out. The price to both seal the driveway and create the concrete sidewalk was $2000, half paid now and half when the job was completed. We paid him $1000 on 9-24-2012. He stated that he would return in a few days to start the job. The paving was never started. Phone calls were made on almost a daily basis. Messages were left, but he does not return phone calls.
