Review: I have been going to B&D for years to service my two vans.
I have never been dissatisfied with the way the handle the work or resolving the problems in their work. It pains me to file this complaint.
If they ever made a mistake, which they have, resulting in having to be towed back and missing an appt.
they made the necessary steps to maintain their integrity as a business owner.
This time they made an error in fixing my air conditioning, resulting in no air conditioning functioning in less than 60 days,
and would not correct and fix my air conditioner. They did however give me an estimate of over $500 to do more work on it.
I went in on Dec 28,2013 when the weather was warmer than usual to ask them to fix it again, and why is there a problem when I just paid over $150 to fix it.
"I am sorry [redacted], says [redacted], I don't have an answer to why the air conditioner was not diagnosed properly and now needs more work."
That is not acceptable to me, to be told that from professionals that advertise their service excellence, their skilled workmanship, and that they maintain a Revdex.com award year after year and will make their customers satisfied.
I want my air conditioner in working order, I don't want to be treated that my business is not important to them or that they are not responsible for errors made in their work or diagnosis.
I was quite disappointed when I dropped it off that the long time mechanic, desk manager, did not greet me as he has in years, and said to me " I MAY OR MAY NOT GET TO YOUR CAR TODAY. The business has never treated me like that and I am not a customer that causes difficulties, I have always appreciated their service previous service ethics and have referred family and friends. I came back to pick up my car and was told....just like new...it's working great Ms [redacted] !!
I am not sure of why the change of ethics or service philosophy has occurred, but you need to be aware of this change of customer service that is UNACCEPTABLE TO ME as a customer and I would think of the Revdex.com
Invoice #[redacted] 12.28.13 and Invoice #(not available at this time) in October '13 ( I can get it if necessary)Desired Settlement: I want my air conditioner fixed due to the fact that I feel they fixed the problem that I brought it in for but created a new problem by disabiling my air conditioner and the condensor and causing a $500 new air conditioning problem that JUST ISN'T FAIR TO A LONG TIME LOYAL CUSTOMER.
These customer service and business practicing are Unacceptable. They claim in all their ads that they are Honest, and It pains me to say, they were not on Dec 28, 2013
