We are not sure what happened to this mans check but it was sent. After receiving this email we cancelled the sent check and sent a new one. We are also unsure why we receive communications from the Revdex.com because we are not members

Revdex.com:I understand that typically you would not refund in the middle of a quarter. However, like you stated- your employee told me it would be refunded. I was also not told it would take 6-8 weeks for a refund, I was told I would have a refund within 2 weeks of the date my service stopped which is why I was expecting it for the past 2 months. It also may be helpful in the future for your company to let customers know when they call to cancel service that cancelling auto pay is separate as I am sure most people would not assume that. I have also called in to B and N on a weekly basis for the past 2 months for some type of update and not once was I told by your representatives that refunds take 6-8 weeks. That also would have eliminated any issues if someone would have just said that or if the owner would return customer calls when requested since the representatives did not have any information. We are sorry to hear that this customer is unhappy with our customer service.  We strive to make everyone of our customers happy. Our customer policy is that we do not refund canceled service  to quarterly customers who cancel in the middle of a quarter.  When...

a quarterly customer signs up, there is a three month commitment on the part of the customer and our company.  They must stay with us for the remainder of the quarter. We only issue refunds to our annually billed customers. This is the policy for most garbage companies if not all of them. There are many reasons for this including, sales tax issues, time consumption and cost.  Customers are informed of this at the time that they sign up with us.     However we had a new employee who misinformed her that she would be getting her $21 refund.  We believe that it is our obligation to stand behind our word and we intend to honor it. She was also clearly informed that we process refunds quarterly and it would take up to 6-8 weeks for her refund. Which her refund still fall within this time frame.     As far as the auto pay, this service is processed through a third party which customers are informed of when they sign up for it.  She was given instructions through their website on how to manage her account.  We do not have any access to her personal account to be able to cancel that service for her. The best we could do was to direct her to the website to follow the instructions to cancel that service.  We also told her that we will be more than happy to refund her the over payment.     We are sorry that we were not able to cater to her personal expectations on when she believed she should receive her refund.  As hard as we try, we understand that we cannot make everyone happy.  We can assure you she will receive her refund along with everyone  else who has waited so patiently.
