Review: During my first visit, I spent almost 2 hours having three different people poke and prod at my teeth telling me everything that needed to be fixed and fixed soon. I was somewhat prepared because they are a new dentist to me, but really annoyed that three different people had to tell me the same thing. I had to contact them repeatedly with my insurance information/social security number and after all that they still spelled my name incorrectly on my bills. I was told I had to have two sessions for a cleaning and was charged $273 for the first visit and required to pay the bill in full at their office. The whole experience was bad. I really didn't want to return for the next visit and in the meantime received an additional bill for $237 for the first visit (insurance may pay a portion) where they repeatedly told me the poor condition of my teeth. I received two separate texts confirming my third appointment even after I called back earlier to confirm. I called on the day of my appointment and was told that the second cleaning would cost $302 - not $273 like the first time and would have to pay at the visit. Why the increase if they were cleaning the other half of my mouth - shouldn't the cost be the same? I cancelled this appointment and was told it would be a $200 fee. I hate them so much, I cancelled anyway. I take full responsibility for letting them do to me what I never realized would total somewhere around $600 plus whatever the final bill will be for the very first appointment. My overall feeling is that I didn't really appreciate their staff, they have bad customer service on top of inconsistent billing practices. I truly have never had such a bad, expensive and frustrating experience with any medical professional.Desired Settlement: I believe that the $200 cancellation fee is outrageous. I'm willing to pay a fee but feel that this amount is exorbitant.
