The contract they refer to wasn't even signed by me so they can say whatever clause they want was in it even though nothing was ever signed.
The engine seized on my vehicle literally 2 months after buying it. The dealer I brought it to flat out said the fluids looked great and the car had just had an oil change. Yet they are still requiring $2000 tear down of the engine to make sure I somehow didn't sobatage my own car. The technician as well as their own adjuster said it was a wild goose chase.
So now I have a vehicle with a seized engine that will cost $12,000 to replace and unless I pay the $12,000 as well as the $2000 diagnostics fee I don't get nickel for the car even though there's $3500 left on my policy.
So I have a $14,500 loan on a car that doesn't run which includes $4000 for a warranty that is now useless.
I talked to their "head guy" Clayton who's a total jerk and has absolutely no empathy towards my situation at all. Then he tried to say I insulted him and abused him during my phone call which is a total lie. Not once did insult him or even raise my voice. The only thing I said to him was that he had zero empathy and asked him if he thought it was fair. He literally then said I had been abusing him the whole phone call.
Notice everyone on this page is calling them a "warranty" company but after they show themselves for who they are they remind you that dealership misleads people calling it that but it's actually a "service contract" which makes them feel better when they screw you over!
If you want to know what it’s like to live in a third world country or deal with incompetence then get the Axiom warranty and try the road side service. !
Bought this very expense warranty for my Tesla model S. I've made two claims, one for $300 and one for $320. After paying for the repair and sending them the PAID receipts from TESLA they still make you jump through hoops for the measly $50 reimbursement. Wanting my bank account statements? Like really, they're sending me $50 for a repair and they have the paid receipt FROM TESLA...SMH. Any excuse not to pay. Dragging payments out for weeks for minor things like a part number on a $5 clip, without any notification...NO email, No call and No notification on the app. No info even on the app that is useful. DO NOT UNDERSTAND how this company is still in business. Cancel the policy? yep, you can but you have to go back to the dealership that sold you the crap warranty to get them to sign and authorize the cancel. Unbelievable!
I brought my 2013 BMW 328i in for an oil change where I had purchased the vehicle and the VSC by Axiom. Upon service the BMW Tech noticed my front strut boots were torn. I looked at my VSC contract and it clearly states under Section 9 of the “Covered Components” Front Suspension and I quote “Dust Boots, Steering Knuckle/Spindle”. Yet they deny the claim stating that “it covers the dust boot of the ball joint” from my contract no one would ever think that. If anyone with some mechanical knowledge knows that either this contract was written incorrectly or they are wrongly denying my claim
We received a call from a shop on 12/2/19 and they advised us of a customers complaint of a strut dust shield. After reviewing the contract on page 3, under section H "What this service contract covers" item #9 under the silver level of coverage it does list front suspension but it is a parts specific list of the parts that are covered. The first part of the paragraph list several parts and then states including (: colon) and then list out the dust boots that ***. The way this paragraph is written it is stating that the dust boots are covered for the items listed in front of the (: colon).
Unfortunately any part of the strut would not be eligible for coverage until the Platinum level of coverage. *** had selected the Gold level of coverage.
I have attached a copy of the contract for reference. Page 3 of the contract list out the items listed for coverage.
Thanks,
***
Director of Claims
My name is ***, and I am an attorney licensed to practice law in ***. My client and the complainant is Gabriel Flores Jr., 215 Comanchero Trail, New Castle CO 81647, his email address is [email protected].
On or about September 7, 2018, *** purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee motor vehicle from . Attached is a copy of the Sales Contract. At the time *** purchased the vehicle the dealer also sold *** an extended vehicle service contract from Axiom Product Administration. Axiom Product Administration is located at ***. A copy of *** vehicle service contract with Axiom is attached.
On February 15, 2019, while driving on Interstate 70, *** experienced severe problems with the vehicle when the vehicle engine appeared to catch fire. *** was required to pull over to the shoulder of the Interstate and the Silt, *** Police Department arranged for the towing of the vehicle to *** home. On February 26, 2019, *** had the vehicle towed to a repair shop in Silt. *** auto insurance carrier, Progressive Insurance, inspected the vehicle and indicated it would cover all of the body damage, wiring damage, and cosmetic damage, but it would not cover the engine damage. The shop was then authorized to inspect the engine damage that had occurred and to start a claim for the extended warranty protection. When a claims adjuster apparently retained by Axiom inspected the vehicle, he initially indicated verbally that the extended warranty was in effect and there should not be a problem with a claim under his vehicle extended warranty coverage. However, later, Axiom denied coverage apparently because the company is claiming that there was “continuous use” of the vehicle by *** once the engine was damaged. *** has stated that this is absolutely untrue and he detected no problems with the vehicle until the engine caught fire on the Interstate. *** has asked Axiom to state in writing why his claim has been denied and Axiom has refused to do so. The repair shop indicates in their letter that the engine did not appear to be neglected and that the failure happened suddenly at operating engine speeds. His shop further indicates there was not prolonged use of the engine in a damaged condition.
Ultimately, *** was required to pay approximately $11,000.00 for a replacement engine and the installation of that engine. *** is happy to provide any additional information that is necessary to resolve the claim. Currently, there are no litigation or arbitration proceedings that have been initiated and no settlement has been discussed. *** request any assistance that you can provide in resolving this claim.
Please find the attached denial letter that was sent to the customer as requested on April 23rd 2019. I have also attached a copy of the third party inspection report showing the engine damage and what the inspector described as "continuously operated at significantly high rates of RPM". This inspection report along with supporting pictures is what we used to evaluate and ultimately denying the claim to the customer.
We will reach out to the customer and gather the supporting documents that the customer may have and reevaluate the claim.
Thanks
Axiom are a bunch of ***. They say they will only cover wear and tear if you return the car within 90 days prior to the lease ending. (If you terminate the lease early they wont cover excess wear and tear, although you are paying the premium for the excess wear and tear). DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use them at all. Go with any other company but Axiom.
The coverage on this contract is only eligible for coverage 90 days before or after the original scheduled termination date. There is a 12 month early termination option with a surcharge but the customer did not select that option at the time of purchase. Below is a copy of the terms of the contract stating that the customer can only terminate the contract 90 days before the scheduled termination date.
Subject to the conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the Addendum, We will not charge You any Excess Wear and Tear charges assessed
under Your contract, up to the maximum amount of Five Thousand Dollars ($5000). You may turn in the Vehicle ninety (90) days before the
Original Scheduled Termination Date and/or any time up to ninety (90) days after the Original Scheduled Termination Date. *If optional 12 month
early termination surcharge is elected, You may turn in the vehicle up to twelve (12) months before Original Scheduled Termination Date.
Additional comments, I ran out of space on the first response: The contacts Original Scheduled Termination date is 6/1/19 and the customer turned in the vehicle on 1/21/19. Unfortunately this is over the maximum allowed 90 days.
I have a extended warranty on my truck as well as it came with another warranty on it. My power steering just stopped working on it, and I took it to go get repaired at *** and they told me the cost was $1800. So I call my warranty company to cover it and they told me no because “it looks more physical then mechanical in the pictures”, and I feel that it isn’t right that I have to pay $1800 when it stop working randomly. I just bought the truck December 3, 2018 and it broke February 18, 2019 only two months and it’s the second thing that has just stopped working since I bought the vehicle.
My truck has been fixed and I am getting it back today. I would this company to cover the cost of the repairs made.
On 2/19/2019 a claim was called in by ASM Will from *** on *** 2014 RAM 1500. Will advised that the customer had a complaint of the power steering went out. Will advised us that the reason for the failure was that the rack and pinion had failed. At this time Axiom dispatched an independent inspector to verify the failure.
The inspection report was sent to us on 2/21/2019. The inspector advised that the wire connector that is on the rack was pushed back and the case of the rack motor was broke at the connector area. The inspector supplied several pictures showing that the failure was due to the connector on the rack being broken due to some sort of impact (I have attached those pictures as well). The contract list in the exclusions that misuse, abuse, and negligence is not covered under this contract.
The claim was denied due to the physical damage to the rack that was verified by the independent inspector.
Thanks
I purchased the platinum bumper to bumper warranty from Axiom through my dealership *** in August 2017. This warranty covers my 2010 Mercedes Benz E550 4Matic. My vehicle is still under warranty and I have a valid claim for repair of my vehicles front struts. I took my vehicle to an approved ASE shop and they estimated the cost of repairs at $3,100. Axiom sent an adjuster to inspect the vehicle and the claim was denied. Axiom claims this vehicle was off roaded and thus they cannot cover the repair. They came to this determination due to “debris and supposedly animal fur underneath the vehicle. I am the only driver of this vehicle and it has never once been off roaded.
