Purchased 3 remote keys for 2 vehicles and now 1 remote key for my 2012 Buick Lacrosse stopped working after 2 weeks and Awesome Locksmith is not offering a refund or key exchange.
Product_Or_Service: remove key 2012 Buick LaCrosse
Refund I would like a full refund of what I paid for the key.
The 2012 Buick LaCrosse remote key was made on Saturday April 7th 2018. The customer complained the key stopped working on Wednesday May 16th 2018. The key was no longer under warranty. It is not the two weeks the customer is stating in their complaints.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
the main key purchased stopped working. the business tried to say because I purchased the key under a discount it was not under warranty. this key was NOT purchased discounted because it was the main key purchased. that was their reason for not replacing. they then had me buy a new battery stating it may have been due to an OLD battery being in the remote. something they should ensure is not the case. very poor customer service selling known defective items and scamming the public.
The customer recieved a brand new OEM (made by Strattec) new in the bag, official licensed key. Not a defective product. I offered to return to the customer's home free of charge to relearn the key but advised the customer if the key was dammaged a new replacement key would be avaliable at a 50% discount. $80 total. The old key cannot be returned over five weeks later. This was not accectable to the customer. Also, I am offended by the customer's comments that I am "scamming the public". This is not true. I did exactly what we aggred for the exact price I quoted. Trying to return a product over five weeks later clamming it's only been two weeks is a scam.

The terms of the key should be fully disclosed upfront as I would NOT have purchased the keys from his business. I have attached the last correspondence with him. No where in my reply did I reject his effort to relearn the key.
