There were notices sent out to all residents on July 1st explaining that because the office was going to be closed on the 3rd and 4th, rent was going to be accepted on July 6th from 9am to 12, and for payments made in that time, late charges would not be appliedPer the resident's lease,
rent is due on the first of the month, and late fees are chared on the fifth of the monthThis resident brought his money order on the afternoon of the 6thWe have charged late fes to all the residents that made payment after noon on the 6th, so waiving this resident's late fees charge would violate Fair Housing, and would simply not make sense as rent is due on the first of the monthNo $discount or refund was ever promised or suggested

This company is incredibly unethical, and engages its tenants poorly. They will do anything to make the tenant pay more when they move out knowing that the tenant probably does not know their rights. They are an absolutely horrible business. I am disgusted at how they take advantage of their tenants. They should be put out of business!
