Im warning everyone about renting from avenue living in moose jaw their building manager Tammy is the worst person that I have ever met very disrespectful to tenants I was NOT EVICTED they told me I couldn’t afford the rent and wouldn’t ALLOW me to renew my lease when my worker told me to renew it so they kicked me out and recently my close family member rents at Langdon Towers in moose jaw Saskatchewan and I was staying a couple days there and the building manager came to my family members door accusing them of selling drugs and then yelled my name so loud every one on that floor most likely heard her yell then she tended to look at me and ask me the the HELL are you doing here your kicked off all of avenue living properties I looked at her and said really I never received a banned paper or any sort stating that at all then she told me she suggested I get the FK OFF THE PROOERTY that’s very disrespectful and ignorant….SHES A FAT USELESS CT AVENUE LIVING IS WORST TO RENT FROM EVERYONE WARNING YOU!

THEY ALSO DONT GIVE NOTICE BEFORE ENTERING CERTAIN PEOPLES SUITES MY BUDDY RECENTLY GOT A NOTICE THAT THEY WERE NOT RENEWING HIS LEASE AND NOW ARE LEAVINT HIM HOMELESS AS OF DECEMBER 30th THE BUILDING MANAGER IN MOOSE JAW HER NAME IS TWYLA RACINE TOTAL BH AND ACCUSES PEOPLE OF SELLING DRUGS FROM THEIR OWN SUITE LIKE REALLY TO TALK LIKE THAT TO AN ELDERLY WOMAN VERY SAD I HOPE AVENEUE LIVING GOES DOWN SEEING A LAWYER ABOUT IT AS WELL THEY ALSO BEEN UPPING CERTAIN PEOPLES RENT EVERY TIME THEIR LEASE ENDS LIKE SERIOUSLY SO SURPIRSED THAT CT HASNT BEEN FIRED OR HAD HER TEETH KNOCKED OUT! I request the owner and CEO to come to Lethbridge and do a walk through of my apartment. When the walk through is done I would request an answer to why my rent has gone up 4 years in a row. The last increase was 150 dollars a month. I would ask if he would pay what I have to pay for this place. Now if anything had been addressed maybe I would understand the increase but nothing has changed. Drain pipe issues, Carpet, Bed bugs, Heating problems, People smoking and doing drugs inside the buildings, Apartment security, is a joke most buildings in my area can be entered with the use of a plain pocket knife.
Show some respect to your tenants and take me up on this request.

I rented a unit at the Sherwood Inn in Camrose. Contraband tobacco sales were a daily occurrence, drive up service available. Portfolio manager is aware as it purchases its tobacco using the previously mentioned contraband tobacco drive thru service at Sherwood Inn.

I rent from Avenue Living, have been for the last 6 years. I live at Mayfair Manor in Medicine Hat now and leaky roof for 1 year. I am on 12th floor, top floor. The inconvenience that this has caused me, trying to catch all the water, emptying containers, walking in water, cleaning up has been stressful for me. I feel I am entitled to 1 months free rent. I was also not informed of this problem when I moved in. I have medical issues as well which has made this type of thing very hard on me.

Worst company to rent from in medicine hat all the maintenance and building management all gossip about their tenets they also accuse you of things your not even doing they lack on heat people call building inspectors annomus and you get the blame for it cause they love accusing people of things they aren't even doing and they keep close eyes on their tenets basically watch your every move they know when your home and when your not home I would not recommend anyone renting from avenue living or less you want to be accused of things your not even doing and like people gossiping about you then have at it otherwise stay clear from this b.s. company worst company ever they should be shut down.

Worse company I have ever rented with. I have rented from numerous of places and this company is by far the worst. I had the property manager threaten to move my move in date TWO DAYS before the date because it suddenly became inconvenient to him. I got a promotion with the apartment with a bed that was supposed to be there the day before my move in and I am still waiting on it because the property manager (Barzan) forgot your submit the form. The manager (Steph) above him was very rude to me when I was asking for help because I couldn’t sleep on the floor for two weeks and nor could I pay rent as well as for a hotel. She refused to reimburse me for the rent and refused to help me in anyway otherwise. It takes hours for them to reply to texts, emails, or phone calls once you have signed the lease. Their professional manner decreases SIGNIFICANTLY as soon as you are signed on with them. Please save yourself the stress and go with a different company. I wish I never went with them.

I've been living in an apartment by avenue living for the past six months [redacted] avenue living hired a matenance guy but didn't form he was coming to get my key to cut. Why is that my responsibility? Shouldn't he go to the main office and get a key from them? The guy who said worked for avenue living said he needed my key so he could get a cut for himself because he said the main office didn't have one... He had not proof who he was and basically I was stranded in my own apartment with no key I gave to a complete stranger saying he worked for them but had no proof. He said he would return in a half hour and came back 2 hours. I called the landlord and she said he did work for them but when he came to my apartment he had no proof who he was and I felt unsafe giving my key to a man I have never seen before. [redacted] I Called the office and lady said the key they have to my apartment is a my that is not common so they had to get mine ... Funny because I cut those exact keys at wal mart and had no problem. Besides random people coming to my apartment a couple times asking for my own personal key they advertised laundry. For the past six month I have had to go to the laundromat Because the laundry machines they have don't even work. Advertised laundry on each floor, my floor doesn't have a laundry machine and so we went downstairs and used that but it was broken and we have notified them various times and it has not been fixed. They advertise no smoking but there workers smoke inside the building when they work on matenance stuff.[redacted]Desired SettlementWe are moving out because of false advertisement, we have complained about the laundry and it's not been fixed the whole time living here so we have been going to laundry mats. [redacted] As a person who pays for my own apartment I feel it is the landlord responsibility to provide keys to the matenance crew and not myself. [redacted]
