I am rejecting this response because: I need to know who is responsible for making sure the flowers were picked up from inside the church door? I paid AVAS and noone signed for them and yet noone saw them at the funeral, it seems to me ultimately it falls on the company who took my money, to make sure a paid for item is received.not just left at a door side for anyone to walk in and pick and walk out with, My sister in law has passed away and I am arguing with a company about flowers that were not found amongst all the other flower arrangements sent.If they had been seen and confirmed by family that they got my card and flowers I would be okay, BUT that is not the case. I am having to ask my brother to keep reliving that day over and over by asking him to revist every sympathy card received and so far mine is not there.How cruel do you expect to be??!!

The people receiving the flowers were there at that time and they were NOT delivered.  AND your people GUARANTEED a delivery time of 11AM.  You need to speak to your people about this.   These flowers were delivered at 2:00pm --- THREE HOURS LATE!!!

Hello. Thank you to the indvidual who responded from Avas Flowers. Their response was helpful, however, a couple issues were not addressed. The response was helpful because it stated there is fine print that states that different flowers can be received and that other florists make the flowers, possibly, unlike Pro Flowers, 1-800 Flowers, and FTD that I'm used to ordering from who have the flowers on hand. Still though, I wanted to ask about the handling fee one more time and the additional charge after ordering the flowers. I felt like my order was being held hostage and would not be delivered on time for my girlfriend's birthday unless I paid extra money. Then, the handling fee is an additional charge that is like a shipping fee so the ad on the homepage said free shipping but it seems like a bait and switch or false advertising. I do not like the way Avas Flowers does things differently than some of the other big online flower retailers. I  appreciate the partial credit provided by the individual from Avas Flowers but I'm scared to order again but might. Thank you for your help and reading this concern.

I am rejecting this response because I did not open a formal dispute with my bank so the $73.31 charge is still valid. This is a flat out lie from Ava's Flowers. Issue a refund ASAP.

I am rejecting this response because: first of all a fourteen year old girl received the flowers.  My daughter was not home at the time they arrived.  When she saw them she called me to say the greens on them were broken. I asked her if there were hydrangeas and cut fresh flowers in the arrangement.  She said no and sent me a picture.  Snapdragons, solidagos and all those greens are not cut fresh flowers. There was NOT six hydrangeas, there was maybe two at best.   Again this arrangement was not even fit to go to a funeral home.  I ordered a bouquet of flowers which this was not.

I am rejecting this response because: The sole purpose was for my Mom to receive the original bouquet of flowers that I had ordered. No amount of money or credit on future purchase to me will brighten up her day, only the correct vase of flowers will do that. It is amazing that Avas wants to give me a $10.00 credit as well as a $20.00 discount on further orders before doing what is right by sending another bouquet of flowers for my Mom's 89th birthday! Is send the right bouquet going to put Avas out of business? Where is the humanity in this situation? Do we have to wait till Christmas & hope they can feel a bit more sensitivity? UNACCEPTABLE!! Being in the Floral business, I wonder how they would have felt if their Mom had received a coffee mug with a few flowers & a balloon, which I did not order but they tried to tell Mom that the balloon made up the difference in price,when they ordered her a beautiful vase filled with flowers? Please, Do The Right Thing!
