AvalonBay Communities

I lived in Avalonbay for many years. I loved my apartment because of my fireplace and balcony but the management were very cruel, abusive and bad people. My car got vandalized 3 times. Their maintenance guy stole my storage key and apartment key. He robbed my apartment, my car and my storage but Avalon defended him because of their own image. I have 7 police reports and I have taken his pictures by the camera that the McLean police helped me with. They hiked my rent for one bedroom to $2600+. To make it short, the apartments have bugs, the appliances are very old and dirty and there are too many children blocking the parking lots and their resident are many new immigrants that are very noisy . They are always outside damaging the cars. Avalon is not a home and Avalon is not a peaceful and definitely not a safe community. The management is unprofessional and one of them was a thief. She abused her power to abuse the resistance if you were unsatisfied with their repairs. Their other manager was protecting her. It's a place that you live in fear. They don't deserve a star.
