Twenty miles down ***, after purchasing the vehicle, the car started shaking violently and the check engine light came on flashing. I pulled over and called Umar at the dealership. I advised him that I was receiving the same code (misfires) that we mentioned to him before purchasing the car. He said to contact him later with repair estimates and he would see what he could do. After having the vehicle towed home and arranging for the local dealership to look at the car, Umar started saying that he wouldn't help. The local dealership identified a problem (bad turbo chargers) that creates multiple symptoms including the error codes that were mentioned from the beginning. The repair costs for the vehicle are estimated at $***. Umar has been non responsive since giving him the estimate. I want to return the car for a full refund of the loan that I had to get to purchase the vehicle. I have not been able to drive the vehicle at all. This is creating a huge burden on my family. Umar has admitted to allowing his mechanic to only replace one spark plug and coil and not perform a complete diagnostic on the vehicle to determine further issues, so it is apparent that he knew the car had problems before listing it. Also, based on the *** report, the car passed a *** state inspection within 50 miles of purchase, leading us to believe that something was missed or not reported properly. One other point of consideration is that the AS-IS Buyers Guide was not displayed properly and prominently in the window.
