Dear Revdex.com Columbus, I am unable to provide documentation stating the cost of the vehicle was going to be $6,out the door I can only attest to my statement to the sales representative It's possible the statement was not heard properly, understood or conveyed to the GM I do not question the fees the dealership wishes to charge; however, I have the right to not do business if I don't agree with amount charged for those fees Attempts were made to negotiate those fees - which failed Therefore, the purchase of the vehicle was cancelled The addition of the dealer documentation fee and electronic filing fees are taxable in the state of Alabama The additional taxable fees went over the amount set in our budgetI request the dealership provide documentation stating the deposit was forfeited in the event the sale of the vehicle was not completedBottom line - a deposit was made and the sale for the vehicle was cancelled early the following day Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for bringing this to our attention in regards to Mr***. In reviewing his purchase the dealership has performed exactly as it should have and as per his signed agreement. The original selling price of this unit was plus tax title and fee's. It became known
that Mr*** was an Alabama resident and had the option to pay his own taxes and whatever fee's the state may require. In several communications via email with Mr*** and to which he acknowledges in his complaint we agree to move all Alabama fee's as well as his signed agreement which he also acknowledges. The selling unit was lowered from to plus our doc fee which he still appears to be confused about even after several attempts of explaining to him that our doc fee is what is on all units we sell and is not involved with anything in regards to what he has to pay to Alabama.Mr*** sent me an email stating that he wanted another dollars knocked off the already from the original selling price to cover this in his attempt to manipulate more monies off of his already reduced price. Further, he left a non-refundable deposit on the unit which he also acknowledges in his complaint that he knew it was NON- REFUNDABLE. If that were not the case it would have stated refundable and he would have also referred to it as such which says he recognizes that it was NOT refundable
Mr*** stated that he was also travelling to other locations in GA to purchase vehicles which brings into question if he is a buyer for himself or another personal dealership in Alabama which would explain why he is trying to low ball his purchases from GA from what NADA retail would be.
I have assisted Mr*** and have explained to him that there we could not lower the price any further then we already have and that he knew the deposit was not refundable which he acknowledged to both myself and the sales associate; along with who he was giving the information to on the phone at the timeMr*** does not wish to honor his agreement in his attempt to strong arm the dealership to lower his already agreed price which he can back out of the full purchase if he wishes. The dealership has acted accordingly and within its privy professionallyMr***'s wanting to post his complaint is completely unwarranted and unjustified to suit his personal issue and needs. There is absolutely no reason for his actions but all has been done from our end to assist him. We have tried prior to this to contact him via phone with no response. We consider the matter closed on our end. If there is anything else we can do to assist please us know

This vehicle came in on a tow truck and it would not crank as the engine was locked upWe replaced the engine and when we were done we cranked the vehicle to find the air conditioner was not workingThe customer said it was working before we
got the car. The technician tapped on the expansion valve and the a/c started workingWe told the customer that they needed an expansion valve to correct this problemThe customer declined and felt we should replace the valveWarranty will not pay for the valve since it is not a recall as the engine was on the said recallThe vehicle is out of warranty to cover any A/C problemsThe Sonata is a with 99,miles on itIt had an engine recall for possible metal that caused the engine to lock up, which it didHyundai did pay to replace the engine at no charge to himWe are very sorry to Mr*** for any inconvenience but the problem was with the engine when it was brought in, not a Air Conditioning problemWith the engine not running, there would be no conceivable way to tell the A/C was inoperable till the engine was replacedHyundai spent nearly $7,to help with his situation on this matter

Dear Revdex.com Columbus, I am unable to provide documentation stating the cost of the vehicle was going to be $6,000.00 out the door.  I can only attest to my statement to the sales representative.  It's possible the statement was not heard properly, understood or conveyed to the GM.  I do not question the fees the dealership wishes to charge; however, I have the right to not do business if I don't agree with amount charged for those fees.  Attempts were made to negotiate those fees - which failed.  Therefore, the purchase of the vehicle was cancelled.  The addition of the dealer documentation fee and electronic filing fees are taxable in the state of Alabama.  The additional taxable fees went over the amount set in our budget. I request the dealership provide documentation stating the deposit was forfeited in the event the sale of the vehicle was not completed. Bottom line - a deposit was made and the sale for the vehicle was cancelled early the following day.   Sincerely, [redacted]
