There was a payment made on the 8th of September for $which the consumer can call the bank and verifyThis is the only payment that was agreed uponIf the consumer believes there is a misunderstanding on the terms of the agreement they are more than welcome to contact our office to
discuss the terms and we ask they provide any documents they may have available

Company states: We have straightened out the registration issue for the consumer and this has been resolved

After all due fees and surcharges, as stated on
client's contract, he was not overcharged and we do not owe him any refundWe tried to contact him, but the number we have on file is disconnected for him, so I am not sure what else to do

Company states: The documents that she produced were fake. She said it was her sisters company. I said give me the stuff that I need. The stuff that is real. In the state of California is a no return state. She had already put miles on the car and provided fake documents.

Review: Bought a 2006 Dodge Charger Charger, and was only driven 4 days. Never received assistance form company.

On May 1, 2013 I purchased a 2006 Dodge Charger, and it was sold to me "As is no warranty." I understand the conditions I bought it in, but no where on my documents does it state that the head gaskets were no longer working. I drove this car the maximum of 4 days, and went back to speak with [redacted]. I went back to him after 2 days because of the check engine light, and they told me to leave the car there. Which I did. I contacted the company constantly, and after 2 months nothing was ever done to my car. THEY KEPT THE VEHICLE THERE FOR 2 MONTHS!!!! I was never late on my payments, and paid in a timely manner. I never even really enjoyed the car, because I never had it.

On July 25, 2013, I took the car to Car&e, Inc, and it turns out at the car had broken head gaskets that needed to be replaced. Also, there were Overheating issues with the AC. I went back to tell [redacted], and got nothing. He even told me to go find an insurance that would cover the issues, and it would be ok. No insurance would cover damages that were on the car before, i'm not here to defraud anyone.

On July 27, 2013, I willingly gave the car back to the finance company. I refuse to pay for something that didn't work, and [redacted] was not wanting to help me. They knew the conditions of the car, and sold it to me anyway.Desired Settlement: I would like my down payment back of $3,000. I work hard for my money, and thanks to them selling me a faulty vehicle I will have my credit ruined.

Final Consumer Response

Consumer Response: I understand that I purchased a vehicle AS-IS, and it was used. What I don't understand is how it only worked for 2-3 weeks, with issues that should have been noted before. I would have not cared if I bought the vehicle knowing it had issues. But, according to them the car was in great condition. I was never late on any payments, I kept my end of the deal. How is it that you had my car for 2 months wanting to fix it, but then now I bought AS-IS? Company knew the conditions of the car, and never mentioned it to me. I simply want my down payment back to purchase something else.

When a car is sold "as is" we give the consumer a chance to have a mechanic look at the car and/or buy a warranty. If no action is taken, by contract, we are not responsible for a car's malfunctions after the point of sale. In the state of California we as the dealer are required to safety the car and pass smog. It is the customer responsibility to have the car checked before purchase everything in the state of California is as is dealer is not responsible. Everything im telling you is clearly on my wall

We financed the vehicle AT the dealership through LOBEL Financial in which we owe payments on this jeep for two more years! I have only made one payment!!!!! I am stuck as I what to do because Auto Time Inc. has been nothing but rude and pushy and has completely took advantage of me as a first time car buyer. THIS VEHICLE WAS SOLD ON APRIL 29, 2013. THIS VEHICLE WAS IN GREAT RUNNING CONDITION WHEN DROVE OFF THE LOT. SMOG REPORT WAS ATTACHED AT TIME OF SALE. SHE DROVE THE VEHICLE APROX 3 MONTHS WITHOUT ANY COMPLAINS AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN WHEN THE MOTOR WENT OUT ON THIS USED VEHICLE SHES BLAMING US (AUTO TIME) FOR IT. WHAT IF SHE RAN IT WITHOUT OIL??? THIS VEHICLE WAS SOLD AS-IS AND WE ARE NOT A REPAIR SHOP TO TAKE CARE OF ANYTHING NOT STATED IN THE DUE-BILL..

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

This vehicle ran for APROX. 2 months! I have had the vehicle for 3 months and am going on my third payment on my loan on a lemon vehicle just sitting in front of my house. we had a mechanic declare that the engine is gone and the head gasket blown. there is no way that could just happen in 2 months after buying he says after telling him our situation. at this point I just want OUT of my loan because there is no way to pay for a 5k repair and no reason for me to keep paying for a bunk car for the next two years. everyone knows you have an exclusive relationship with the bank so why can't you just resolve this as easily as you can get ANYONE approved. as [redacted] the salesman stated "see this hat" wearing a lobel financial hat "I'm a bank rep for lobel, you won't get denied". um yeah and you know that how? your NOT the bank. but you guys sure are cozy with them and this is a typical take advantage of a first time buyer scenario. haha and you say I have had no problems and haven't contacted you is a LIE. we told you what happened the next day and then a few weeks later when [redacted] insulted me over the phone saying he doesn't have a crystal ball? pretty classy. horrible communication skills.

Business' Final Response

SIMPLE AS 123 THE VEHICLE WAS SOLD AS-IS. WARRANTY WAS DECLINED AT TIME OF SALE. I CANT LOOK INTO A CRYSTAL BALL AND TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FUTURE. SORRY, [redacted]

Review: When I bought my car and got a loan I was informed that they could not give me a front license plate. I was also told they paid my registration as a part of the loan. They did not pay my registration or give me a license plate. I went into DMV today to get a license plate and they told me it was illegal for them to not give me a license plate and it was illegal for them to charge registration in the loan but not actually pay it. DMV told me to hold off on getting the front license plate and to contact you. That they are in violation. Thank you,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like them to pay back the registraion fee and supply my licsence plate.

Review: I was shopping for a car and came across a low budget slummy dealership that was willing to finance me on a used car. I filled out the app and agreed to put down $2500 on the car itself. Problem was I only had $1100 on me and couldn't access the rest till the next day. So I leave the $1100 as a security deposit in which I got a signed receipt for cash given. The next day I show up ready to hand over the remaining $1400 and am told that the bank had did an employment background check and found out that I no longer work where I said I worked. Which was true. At that point the boss says to me: "Now you know I don't have to give you your money back. This is fraud and all I have to do is turn it over to the police and you will go to jail for fraud." In a panic I made an offer to buy a lower priced vehicle on the lot instead of financing one. He agreed and said he would me sell me a car since he had my money already I could just apply toward a vehicle on the lot. So I told my parents about it when I come home and told my parents about him holding my money and the dealer not wanting to return it. Now this is on day 4 we go down there my parents and I and they refuse to return my $1100 cash deposit. We called the cops and basically we were told to contact an attorney.

Review: This vehicle was sold approx. 09/23/14 has had the service engine light and a few other lights on. the vehicle has been in the possession of autotime inc supposedly being fixed, but to no avail, it hasn't. every month and an overwhelming phone conversations with [redacted], [redacted] (son), [redacted] (co-owner)in regards to them fixing the car, and taking it back & forth to Autotime Inc each time it's a new excuse and they need to keep it longer every month. As of today, the car still hasn't been repaired, it needs a new motor. It was sold without a smog. I had to pay for diagnostic $150 and then ([redacted])said he would refund me, plus make the payments $325. Nothing has happened, now even the mechanic is making excuses, stated he hasn't received money from them for parts. It has been since 11/5/2014 that they have had the car, everyday a new excuse or problem. I have pictures where someone has been driving the car, with someone elses personal items inside my car which was supposed to be being fixed not joy riding. I have 2 cars with 1 with each of their businesses Autotime Inc and Platinum Motors, I'm having the same problem, neither of them being fixed, a lot of lies and misuse of both vehicles by unauthorized people to be driving. false promises, this company is not practicing ligetimately. [redacted] asked me to give him a chance to make things right, it's been over a month, I still have no vehicle and paying. Now he needs to step up and really make things right.Desired Settlement: pay me for pain and suffering, being without a vehicle during the rain, causing illness, asking for rides to get the car when it was said to be finished and it wasn't 276miles each way. refund $7,000. and pay off the loan and they can keep their car$2700 down payment, 4 car payments $325.00, $150. diagnostic, suffering of having to borrow cars, pay for rides, pay people for gas to get around. All the constant lies from Autotime Inc and their other business Platinum Motors.

Review: On February 6th 2015, (7:30pm) I [redacted] purchased a vehicle (2001 black cadillac deville) at Auto time inc (Sacramento) I paid full amount for car including tags (witch expired at the end of febuary)in cash $2480.00, after payment I was told I would receive my tag in the mail within 2 weeks. after the third week I called Auto time and called to get an update they told me they are still working on it and I'm next in line, they had to handle all the other customers who purchased cars before me and they had to do it in order, I said OK they told me next week I should get them, I ask to please keep me up dated my tags are going to expire, I husband called and talked to them on the last day of the month (Feb) and they still Dont have them so the manager said to come to Auto Time and pick up a dealer plate and we should be fine with that until we get our from that time till April 30 2015, I've been trying to get my tags and registration. I've constantly been calling and trying to get answers every week, they have told me next week, or I need to talk to this person but there not in today or not there yet or I'm next in line and everyone that purchased cars before me have to go first or they won't answer my calls they would forward my call to message, and they tell me they got my tags but there waiting for registration and or opposite.they have not called me and gave me any type of updates and I'm very uncomfortable to drive my car,I've gotten pulled over 2-3 time because of the plates, I'm very upset with everything how they handle there business. I do regret buying a vehicle from them.Desired Settlement: Going threw all this is a headache, it would be nice to receive a refund but I also want my tags and registration and I would like to keep my car because I've put so much into it that needed to be worked on. Please don't do this to your hard working customers.

Review: AutoTime Inc is a shady corrupt business that is pocketing peoples down payments and then submitting the full amount of the vehicle to the financial company. The price of my vehicle was $5800 dollars, I gave $2000 dollars as a down payment and my principle balance as of today is 5100+ even after 2 payments of $260 totalling $520. I purchased the vehicle on DEC 9th, I wonder how many people are unaware of this theft.Desired Settlement: I Want my down payment refunded so I can send it to the finance company and have it put towards my principle balance like it should have been from the start

Review: I bought a 2004 [redacted], paid cash! $5000 sept. 12, 2014. After driving off the lot to get gas (down the street) Check engine light came on, I thought it had to do with the gas cap. Around Sept. 17th I took the car into firestone to get a diagnostic (cost me 100-) because the check engine light never went off & I kept smelling gas. To my surprise, the car had a gas leak & with JVC which isn't leagle I emmidately called Auto Time & Spoke with [redacted] (owner) & informed him of the problem. I told him the cost to fix it (through firestone) $1200 & he said that he would use his mechanic. It took him 3 weeks to make an appt for me to bring my car in because he claimed that he had to order the part! (Mind you, he had me bring my car in 2 weeks prior with the excuse of fixing it, but all it did was sit for a week.) Now after 5 weeks of waiting for a part & him "having to go to germany because his brother was sick," he finally responds to one of my many phone calls (Cause his son [redacted] had to give me his other two numbers) to fix my car, he tells me that the part will be here in 3 days! Well it wasn't! Around the 1st week of November 2014 he says that the part is in & he came out and picked up my car. He had it for a few days pm;y tp omfpr, ,e that it was the wrong size gas tank & he had to get a bigger tank, so he returned my car w/ no gas & an extra 180 miles! I called him about it 10 minutes after he dropped it off! He said that he had to drive out to roseville to get my part! (it was supposed to be at his shop(Auto Time!)) He told me that he'd call me when the right part came in. He called about a week later to let me know he finally got the part & we made arrangements for him to pick-up my car & leave me with transportation (for doctors appts.) He told me that he'd have my car back/done by morning the next day. (He picked it up around 10 pm that night because it was the first one his guy was going to fix. Anyhow, I didn't get my car back until the following day, needless to say. The check engine light was/is still on & the car still has a gas leak! I informed him of the issue still being present & he still told me that he'd get back to me because his daughter was in the hospital (mind you, I'd been chasing this man down for weeks at thsi time!) He asked for a few days. He never called or returned calls, responded to any of my many many messages that I left on both of his cell numbers, or with his son [redacted] who also works at Auto Time, or the one lady who works there! The only rime he or anyone else picked up the phone when I called, was when I called from a different number! They are ignoring me!! I just wanted the problem fixed, due to the fact that it's very dangerous & they obveously knew about it & said nothing when they sold it to me. & I did tell them that I was going to get the car check-out & was told that if anything was wrong bring it back & we'll fix it!Desired Settlement: If they dont want to stop cutting corners & being cheap they can pay for it to be fixed at a shop of my choosing, or they can take the car back & give me my $5000 cash I paid for it..

Not to mention, why did take them until January 2015, after I complained to them & had to call DMV to find out that I dnt/didn't get the registration because up until the 8th of Jan 2015 I didn't even own the car!! 5 months later !!!

P.S. I was also informed that due to this problem, the car wouldn't be smogable unless fixed. I thought It wasn't leagle to sell a car if you couldn't smog it. Am I wrong?

Get this car as part of my SSI. Settlement to to the fact that I have cancer and other health issues that cause me to have to see lots of doctors. I can not afford to be taken advantage of. Please help me

Thank you

Review: My husband and I purchased a 12 passenger van from them. We drove down from NV signed the contract then recieved a call from [redacted] stating they put the wrong date on our contract and we had signed a power of aty saying he could re sign new ones with correct date. Then when we get our first bill the new contract he signed was $40 dollars more per month. I then contacted Lobel financial faxed the one and only contract we signed showing them whatever they recieved was def not our signatures. Lobel closed our account and made Auto time buy back the vehicle. [redacted] at Auto time sent his uncle up here to Reno NV to have us sign a new contract, however this was still a 29 month contract that lobel would not accept. So in July we drove down signed a new contract in which [redacted] promised he would make my first two monthly payments, as well as [redacted] another salesman gave us $40 for lunch for my family for the trouble of us having to come back again. However I have left 6 messages after I mailed my payment coupon for Aug for [redacted] and [redacted] and have gotten no response. By luck last week on 9/25/14 [redacted] answered and promised he would make the payment that day and he was so sorry had not recieved any calls or the payment coupon. As of today still can not get one of the supervisors or partners at the company to return a phone call or make the payment which is now 2 weeks past due.Desired Settlement: For their company to send me a check for the two months of payments since now I am having to make them as well as the late payment for August payment which totals $551.00.

Review: I purchased my vehicle from Auto Time Inc at [redacted] on August 25, 2015. Since then I have been paying a car note to [redacted]. On April 27, 2015 I took it upon myself to go to DMV to see about my lisence plates. At that time I was infomed that Auto Time Inc. had gone out of business and that the Dealership had never turned in my paperwork for me to receive my plates or registration.Desired Settlement: I am looking to inquire on how I will be able to locate my paperwork pertaining to the vehicle I purchased with Auto Time Inc. I am seeking direction on how I can receive the paperwork needed to get my registration and plates. If this information is not available to me I would like to inquire on how to return the car along with getting my funds back along with the payments I have been required to pay for the last 9 months.

Review: Hello, I went in on August 22, 2014 to purchase a vechile from Auto Time, it was a Mercury Montego. I filled out all the paperwork and the sale was complete. On September 5, [redacted] (the general manager) called me and advised me that there was something wrong with the registration and he needed me to bring the car in. On September 6, 2014 I brought the car in and [redacted] had another employee come in and block the car so I cannot drive off in it. [redacted] told me that the financing didn't go through. I asked why and he said, "the company doesn't exist." I advised him yes it does and you can pull it up online. Then he said just tell him whats going on so he can help him. I advised him nothing and that I work from home for the company and he said, "the bank called the business and they said they didn't know you." Both of his statements are absolutely untrue. Then he said your doing fraud and at this point the bank doesn't want to give you your money back." Then he proceeded to tell me that I need pictures of the store front, the Business Lincense, Google map pictures and 8 months worth of pay stubs so I can get the car back. Per the law because he couldn't find me financing so I am entitled to my deposit and after 10 days they were my financing company. I didn't know this at that time and I had my kids with me, so they dropped me off at home. They have the car and my $1000 deposit and refuse to give me either one. My father and I went back up there and he still refused to give me my deposit back. He said if I could give him the documentation that he said he could pull up online, then I can have the car back. They already took the car and my sister is letting me use her car now and I want my deposit back. He also said at that point of time, that he had my deposit money (last time he said the bank did). He also said that they are a tax business, which online you will see they're a credit repair business, a uhaul company and a tax business (Maximum Refund).Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit back and that's all I am asking for at this point of time.I would also like for the Better Business to give me some info on what agency's I need to contact, so that I can make sure that this doesn't happen anymore.I am concern with their handling of people's deposit. They told me that the bank takes 20% of each thousand that they finance for a deposit. They told another person that the bank takes 20% for a deposit and they take 10%. I can go on and on.

Review: When I bought the car they promise to take care of the mechanical issues that the car had, we took the car back four times to no avail. So when I talked with the owner he stated "You've had the car 4 months it is your problem". The car shut down on July 16 and has not ran since. Oil is pouring out of the bottom of the car. I called [redacted] the finance co. they said they will come and get the car, sale it at auction and whatever is the balance left I'd owe.Desired Settlement: Take this car back and return some of the money I'm out or put me in something worth me paying $231 month that's going to hold up longer than 74 months.
