I am waiting on my refund from service and GAP cancellations. Should have received last month.
After many attempt to cancel GAP and Service warranties, I finally was able to speak with someone and bring all the proper documents for cancellation December 2019, and was told it was it would take up to 3 months to receive refund. Well it's February 2020, I called last month to the GWC Warranty Corporation whom they work with to cancel the warranties and not only did they inform me that the cancellation date was put in January 10th, almost a month later, but that the cancellation was approved from that date. I have called and have had co workers who work in finance and also do warranties call, thinking I might be getting the run around, but it always ended up in excuses and verbal arguments.
I just really want my refund, and I will also like to know why the cancellation date was January 10th, instead of a month prior. And yes, I came in October and November but didn't have proper paperwork, cancellation date should have been Early December.

I want my my refund, from the date that I went in to the business to cancel.

first came into Auto Selection of Lake Norman around 6:45 pm one evening and we where assisting other clients and told *** that he would need to come back due to us closing in 15 minutes at 7pm. He then came back a week or so later and asked to cancel his warranty and gap products he had purchased on the vehicle he had purchased. We let him know that he would need the vehicle at the time of cancellation. He said ok and left. A few weeks later we had a Finance manager from Flow Toyota in Statesville call and started screaming at the owner of Auto Selection. After the owner calming down the rude manager we found out that the *** had traded in his Camaro at Flow Toyota. The finance manager had no instructed *** to bring in the proper paperwork to cancel the products. So the owner of Auto Selection had his business partner who speaks spanish call *** and better explain the process of cancelling the products and that the Finance manager at Flow Toyota needed give him the proper paperwork to cancel the product. *** then came to Auto Selection w/ his son who could translate for him. At that time the process went smooth and we explained to *** son that now since we had the proper paperwork the cancellation would be processed and the process would take 60-90days to process. We also let *** and his son know that the normal process if for the dealer who took the car in on trade to contact us and help process the cancellation for him and they had not and that probably why there was so much confusion. After that day we received another threatening call from another female finance manager from Flow Toyota and then a week or so later his daughter called threatening and being aggressive until the owner once again explained to her what the process was. The daughter also said that *** had not let her know that her brother and father had come to the dealership and had been explained the process. Saying that we processed the paperwork and have to supply the supporting documents (trade bill of sale) to the warranty and gap companies. Those companies cancel the product from the date listed on the "trade bill of sale". We also explained via his contract when we receive the funds from the warranty and gap company those funds will first be sent to the finance company he originally financed the camaro with. Once they receive the funds then they will forward those funds to ***. This is why the time line of 60-90 days explained to the customer on multiple occasions. We have not ONE time denied to help *** nor ignored him. But to continually have people call and now submit Revdex.com complaints will not get him the funds any faster. He has been explained this in english and in spanish and for some reason continues with the same claims. At this point there is nothing else that can be done but wait for the process to be completed.
