Auto Glass & Electronics

Along Coney Island ave there are many Auto shops some specializing in certain things while this one (T&M Autoglass & Electronics) specializes in security alarms, radios/gps installations and glass repair. My first time requiring the services here I simply needed my security alarm disconnected, job was done for cheap so came back to him with my wife’s car to install a radio she had ordered online for her car. Job was done well So I decided to go back to him put a radio in my car this time. I did not purchase my own radio beforehand so he advised me that he had one last one in stock that fits my car. He told me for the radio and the installation it would be 500 total , however my car required what’s called a “trim set” for the radio to be installed where the old radio is. Basically a separate piece that he did not have that cost me over 220$ alone to order and send to me house. The job could not be done on the spot because of this and he told me I can put a 250$ deposit on the radio and come back with the trim set and another 250$ so he can put everything in for me. This was almost a whole month ago and he has since been closed everyday, not returning phone calls, emails, texts, even Instagram messages. I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, emergencies and things beyond our control can possibly happen, but to run a full on business and not even leave A sign on your gate saying down for business or trying to contact people to give them back their money that you know you shouldn’t have is unjustifiable in my eyes. Instead whenever I drive by there’s a new note from whoever else’s money is being held asking for their money back too.
