Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI talked to the credit card company this morning and the company refunded me my $As far as anything else they can do for me, I have nothing since I had already taken care of everything else myselfI believe they are [redacted] only out to make money and wouldn’t ever allow them in my home again Sincerely, [redacted]

I am enclosing a copy of the email I sent to [redacted] & [redacted] s respone to me It states we have not had the funds put back in our account & [redacted] is still awaiting response from there credit card company It shows an estimated completion date for the dispute of 03/06/ I am sending [redacted] the documentation Mr [redacted] sent to help speed up the process.There was never any charge or cost estimate of $from the beginning of the service call If Mr [redacted] had placed a cap of $dollars, we never would have began work since the bid was $from the very beginning We fully explained everything to Mrs [redacted] , she then asked us to call her husband Which we did My plumber explained everything to Mr [redacted] , Mrs [redacted] was in the same room as my plumber when he explained the very exact same thing to him as we just did to her As soon as Mr agreed to the estimate of work, we wrote up the estimate, Mrs [redacted] then signed for the propsed estimate before we ever began No one was intentionally mislead in any way Yes we did propose replacing all the gas lines The line would not hold pressure Yes we knew the house was for sale They needed us to state the gas lines would hold pressure We could not do this because the line was not holding pressureOnce we were done pressurizing the system, Mrs [redacted] paid the invoice & we left There was no issue with any of this until we could not state the line was holding pressure Then toward the end of the day Mr [redacted] called upset about the charges & that we put on the invoice the gas line would not hold pressure We never attempted to take advantage of anyone nor have we ever We were not informed of the dispute until the day after they closed on the sale of the house Once I learned about the dispute, I immediately contated Mrs [redacted] & she said she could not talk to me I was only able to speak with her husband So I then called Mr, I attempted to talk to him about the situation & he did not want to even try to discuss it He stated that he capped the repair at the $250, I stated then we would have never started if that was the case He had zero desire of reaching a resolution & hung up on me stating he was done with the conversation.Since the charges were disputed/reversed on a home that was for sale at time of service, I contacted the [redacted] s real esate agent She was concerned & upset that he reversed the charges the way he did & she said there was nothing she could do but ask that I please call the BUYERS real esate agent So I contacted the BUYERS agent & explained the entire ordeal, she was concerned that her client just closed on a home with potential gas leaks or lines not holding pressure The BUYERS agent asked us to please call [redacted] & explain this to them & request they send a tech out to check the gas lines So that is the only reason we called *** Neither agent wanted new homeowners moving into a home with potential gas leak problems I personally feel disputing a credit card charge the day before closing is extermely unprofessional.I have never made or given erroneous information to the [redacted] s of the Revdex.com We could have came to some resolution prior to Mr [redacted] disputing the charges had he been willing to speak with myself or my plumber prior We never mislead, lied or did anything unethical Like I said in my first response to the Revdex.com on this matter, I will not agree to any refund until the $that was reversed out of my account is returned I have forwarded what I can to [redacted] to try to speed this up Also I will not agree to refund anything until the slanderous & statements are corrected, addressed, or removed online We have never scammed anyone & I take great offense to that statement

I have attached the invoice & credit card slip signed by Mrs [redacted] Our plumber went over all charges with Mrs [redacted] , she then had us call to explain to her husband Which we did in front of Mrs [redacted] She signed the invoice for the work estimate Then signed a second time once we completed the work that was fully explained There was never any $charge discussed No where even on the invoice is a price for $ We fully went over & disclosed all charges prior to starting We did not even receive the credit card dispute until the day after they closed on the sale of the home the work was completed at I have heard nothing from the credit card processor that I have been cleared in the dispute or that we will have the money put back in our account I will not agree to any style refund until I know defintiely I will receive the original $back in our account We were not dishonest in any way, and I feel the reviews being placed on several online sites is slander & any propsed refund I will offer I will want some of the slanderous untrue statements removedPlease call if you need any other info [redacted]

We are only the warranty service provider for Rheem We were called out there, the tank was not installed correctly We gave them the estimate to correct the issues, she called back later that day to schedule the work & put half down Later that evening her husband called to cancel the work to be completed The charges were then reversed on our end When we called Tuesday for the warranty repair the tank was still workingIf the tank is working Rheem will not cover us to replace the part so we could not install it I never hung up on her, I was in an area with no cell service & the phone kept disconnecting us I called back the moment I had service She has received her refund

The repair solution & price was given prior to work beginning We do not itemize our invoices We do not charge by the hour all jobs are upfront pricing regardless of how long the job may take The repair was made correctly We explained after the water pressure is corrected it can take up to weeks for the T & P valve to stop dripping He was upset about the low water pressure & we explained that we regulated it to pressure When we arrived his water pressure was psi

I had other plumbers to my home for a plumbing leak & odor Neither of the companies had any idea or suggestion as to where the leak was coming from & they could not find the smell The only suggestion that they gave me was my trap was dry & to dump water into the trap We tried that with no luck Seen local listing & coupon for Alpha and decided to try again The plumbers were very thorough in looking for the problem It was not just one issue going on but We had a pin hole leak in a water line, which they traced back & found & the second problem was a crack in the basement floor drain They found the crack, broke up the concrete around the floor drain & replaced the broken pipe & then put the concrete back They completed all the work from start to finish and kept me informed of what was going on They were all very helpful & easy to work with Did a great job explaining what was going on & what had to be done to fix it

He said she said.  Facts are facts.  I told the plumber to call me back and he didn’t.  They proposed an almost $9000 repair when [redacted] fixed for $254 laughed out loud and also thought they were trying to scam us..  The dispute with the charges was done way before closing they just found out about it at that time because it takes time to go through. This person did call but I was literally in the middle of moving with a deadline to be out of the house so I could not talk.  She was extremely rude.  In reading reviews from other customers it seems I am not alone in being very dissatisfied.  Don’t care about the money anymore as I am sure I will never get it back. Just want everyone to know what a bad company Authority plumbing is. I am rejecting this response because:
The company has actually been paid by the credit card company.   They reversed the credit after "investigating". They were provided with a credit card slip signed by my wife as well as the bill signed by my wife..  What they didn't tell the credit card company is that they were told to call me before going over $250.   Instead they made my wife believe that I was aware of everything and had her sign the bill and the credit card receipt.  This was dishonest.  Yes she signed the bill and credit card receipt but was intentionally misled.  The second piece of information here is that they recommended replacing all of the gas lines in the house at a cost of $8900 dollars. The technician told my wife there were leaks everywhere yet they didn't mark them. Every professional in the business I spoke with told me how ridiculous this bid was and even if every gas line in the house needed replacing it would not cost even half this much. They knew a house sale was contingent on passing inspection and they attempted to take advantage of us.  [redacted] was called to inspect and repair.  They found 1 leak at an elbow.  It was repaired in under an hour at the cost of $254.55.  I feel ripped off for $350 as again I told the technician to call me before exceeding $250.  I have accepted I will likely never see the money as the business is dishonest.  Hopefully the community will know how we were treated as customers and perhaps someone will avoid getting scammed.  I have included the letter from [redacted] showing that the credit from the dispute was reversed and the authority plumbing was paid.  I intend to pursue dispute as they were given erroneous information just like the Revdex.com.  I have also included the receipt from [redacted] indicating a simple repair totaling $254.00..  It also should not be forgotten that Authority plumbing actually called [redacted] to try and have our gas shut off when they realized that I disputed the charge.  The only reason it wasn't shut off was because the guy had the record in his computer that the gas line was just repaired!  IF THAT ISN'T UNPROFESSIONAL I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.
