This complaint was responded to electronically on August 26th, 2014.
The same response is as follows:
The member is billed on a bi-weekly basis. Upon further research, his bi-weekly dues declined on the due date of June
26th on the provided payment method. He paid the past dues plus what was due in the future at the club on July 6th, 2014. His payment declined again on the due date of August 8th and was reprocessed successfully on August 12th
This member bills every two weeks, every other Friday in the month. There was no overbilling, therefore no refund is necessary at this time
Should the member have any additional questions in regard to this response, he can contact us here at the corporate office at ***

As you will see I did receive the $42.94 refund from
AussieFit today and you will also see the additional $27.50 overdraft
fee. Then I called the bank to let them know that it was out of my control
to incur the overdraft fees and they gladly credited my account the $55.
I have instructed them not to pay anything to AussieFit from
this point on. I have signed a stopped payment form to honor this
request.
I will also contact the Revdex.com to let them know that this claim
has been satisfied however the way you do your business and handle the paper is
still not acceptable.
The cancellation was taken care of 6 months ago and it
should have been honored.
I never had a paid in full contract with Keep Fit 10 it was
a month to month and I could cancel at any time. And this is what I was
trying to explain to you yesterday but you took it to a level that was
unnecessary.
I am just glad that this is done and over with.
I just did not want to get stuck with fees that I DID NOT
INCUR was my whole point!
I am not one to overdraw on a checking account.
On February 26th, 2014 Keep Fit 10 ( formerly known as Aspen
fitness) notified its members that it would be closing its doors effective
2/28/2014 and all memberships would be transferred to AussieFit located at 5929
East Mains Street approx. 1.4 miles away. Memberships would be honored at the
exact same terms and conditions until 8/31/2014.
Aspen fitness has this right to transfer members as written in
their membership contract.
AussieFit did not buy Aspen Fitness it only agreed to honor the
displaced members under the exact same terms and conditions.
If this member was in the member database his/her membership was
still valid as of 2/28/14.
There is no refund owed to this member for the KeepFit10 Membership as we have not charged the card and AussieFit will
cancel the membership retroactive to 2/28/14.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me contingent upon them updating the invoice they sent me to a "0" zero balance (see attached invoice). I was not an active member at Aspen Fitness when they closed their doors so I do not own Aussie Fit $31.40.
